Its really a shame that this game isn't available world wide like the other Hoyoverse games. I can't find a lot of videos translated in English so I don't know the context of any of these scenes, just guesses based on what I can see. But just from what I can see, GGZ looks like it has a very interesting story that seems unique to HI3 or at least plays as an alternative timeline. The lore also looks interesting as well as the characters and the play style is also unique, very Odin Sphere like (not sure what other comparison to make). Kind of hope we get a Star Rail version of some of these characters like Kyuushou.
Damn iiiiiiiiiiit! Kyuu’s dead!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! It’s extremely sorrowful that Kyuushou’s parents had to bury their only child. We lost a good one, people. We lost one of the best short-lived characters MiHoYo has ever made. There will never be another Kyuushou in GGZ ever. There is no other way to shine the spotlight on another Kyuushou for another Hoyoverse game of our age as long as a few people remember her and the most forget/reject her. We’ll never know the time we’ll do anything to get her back. Heck, we know no methods that will bring her back. This day, my friends, is the day Houraiji Kyuushou dies for good.
@@NotBotButNPCNonetheless I feel your pain. I fear that there won’t be another Kyuushou. Due to other Hoyoverse game communities ignoring Kyuushou’s existence, being rarely mentioned in other Hoyoverse games, and fearing that Kyuushou would ruin the game, she might be the only Kyuushou. The last Kyuushou. It’s gonna take a miracle for her to come back!
Actually, I think that by the end of the battle Mei's body may look even more horrific than this, like being corroded nearly into a goo by some really strong acid, they keep her body shape without making it more disgusting for the sake of players.

Unlike HI3, GGZ doesn't try to sugarcoat it and leaving its tale as it is. HI3 seems more boring to me, not as a honkai story but as a story in general... too much hand-holding, too much miraculous power of friendship, no consequences, no tensions, and no stakes. Real life doesn't work like that. And because of that, I find it difficult to root for HI3 characters post Himeko's death (which is peak of HI3 writing), heck even Kiana's "sacrifice" doesn't look like a sacrifice... compare to what GGZ Kiana has to go through.
@@hxppythxughts7149 personally I'd say that after chapter 17 stakes kinda faded away from the story. We just came off Himeko's death, Kiana put a gun to her head before, and is currently in a dying state. Like, we *just* came off from Himeko's death. We dont know if anyone else will die. There used to be an English version but the server was closed on 2021.
