Shane I am going snowboarding in Alaska to do back country for my first time. A helicopter drop in. Should I bring any special equipment to help if I fall into a crevasse or an avalanche? To make sure I can be found? I have never done this before but after my first black diamond run we are sending it!

Nice dude, that will be epic! Every heli operation I know of will equip you with the necessary safety tools as well as giving you a run down of how things work. You'll also have a guide with you so you should be all set
