Where the hell are you recording 2 to 4 rainy days a month, I'm over here smack in the middle between Manchester and Liverpool, it's more like 2 to 4 non rainy days a month, flippin' raining all the time... Today rain, yesterday rain, day before rain, day before that got soaked going to work because of, you guessed it, rain...

The rule of thumb I use to find roughly what the equivalent temperature would have been four or five decades ago is to knock 10% off in degrees Centigrade,so for example 22 degrees now becomes 20 back in the day,11 becomes 10 and so on. So I suppose that's my estimate of global warming in the UK from personal experience! If it keeps going up I may have to revise that 10% figure upwards one day,but I don't think it's come to that yet.
