Stay safe! We need you💕💕💕 I just bought two of your watercolor courses! I have improved in just two days! I love your courses because they have really helped everything click. I want to be free. Being worried and tight makes timid paintings! And a great price! Also, I bought your how to shade book. That’s helping a lot too. I have your other books in my Amazon cart! More extreme wet in wet videos please💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
When I saw you paint the wall red I was like, “why?” But when you added the blue it was like magic! Amazing! Had to pause the video to comment. ❤ Also I realized how you are dealing with bombs and sirens and the threats in this video. I wasn’t sure if you were near the fighting. Praying for you and all of Israel. God is with you. 🙏🏻 Now I will continue watching. 😊
Thank you so much for the kind words ♥ We are an extremely tiny country, when an alarm goes off in a nearby city, it's realistically the range of 10 km max. We hear it all. All my paintings on our walls got gradually crooked due to constant impacts. Thank you once again for the prayers and support, I really really appreciate it 🙏🙏
Hey LiRon! I love the “feel” of those old, well used stairs, the warmth draws me to them. I’m impressed with how focused you’re able to be, and thank you for providing this video. I continue to keep you in my thoughts. Stay strong and safe. I look forward to seeing you again soon. ☮️ ❤
Honestly this is my favorite watercolor process. It takes a lot of practice but I think it’s worth it. I think watercolor always looks its best when painted in a single layer. There’s a certain vibrancy and translucent and cleanness you get when you don’t keep layering over it
I always learn something from you, whether drawing or painting or tips and techniques. Thank you for your teachings and the way you care about us learning. Such a difficult situation you are in. So glad you are safe where you are...And so glad you have art to help you through these hard times. You are in my daily thoughts.
It is more difficult to explain than it is just to do as you would normally. It’s is very admirable to see you painting. I really like the colors in your washes. Hang in there! The sounds of the jets aren’t loud over TH-cam. 😊
@@LironYan I have taken the step into trying Michael Harding watercolors. If you were closer I’d give you some to try. They are definitely different than others, yet I can’t pinpoint why. I can say I feel “satisfied” when I paint with them and don’t want to use my others, of which I have way too many. 🫣 I even sent him an email. But I’m sure that doesn’t surprise you, 🤣. I’ve used them for almost two months now, and they are great. Come see me and we can “play”. 😉❤️
@@LironYan I’m still trying to figure it out. It’s hard to pinpoint. They are very pigmented! Thick when fresh, almost reminds me of gouache. Yet not! lol! They do take a couple of days to “set” up. I’ve read they have honey, yet Dr Oto Kano, had on her site that is unknown. I think one thing is the colors are so vibrant that what you paint is what you get. Depending on the water of course, but they only take a small amount to get big color!
And it's so fun to just leave them as paper white, and then decided what to do with them. Though sometimes I also enjoy "mapping" them out with light colors, and then painting around them
I love that you left the cauliflower in the sky! I actually don’t mind a well placed cauliflower in my paintings. 😊 What kind of pen are you using for the highlights? Is that just a regular ink pen or a paint pen? Stay safe, keep creating, art is more important now than ever!
It's funny, I feel like I have the opposite problem of feeling challenged to match a colour, but a lot of the time, realistic colours can be pretty boring! I find myself wishing I could have pushed it somewhere prettier, more vibrant, instead of painting everything with the same dirty grey that it is in real life.
I understand EXACTLY what you mean. I have found myself losing interest in the middle of a painting because it was a constant chore mixing the gray reds, blues, yellows, browns, greens etc. There is a cure for it, and I think it lies in my recent vid (Last Watercolor Technique You'll Need): th-cam.com/video/FbndtI6t8_o/w-d-xo.html Because at the end of the day... color matching... coulds also be used / viewed as a technique (:

You’re painting - I’m praying!

Thank you so much both @yosemite & @jenjen, much appreciated ♥🙏
Happy most of the background noise doesn't come through
I’m really enjoying color mixing and using less “connivence” colors. It’s fun to play.
Same here! (:
Though sometimes I feel like some processes would be so much easier by just having 3-4 ready-made different primary colors haha

Haha 😛
Interesting, now I'm curious in what way they feel different from other brands.
Let me know if you have more insights!

I loved how you explained the colors you used and why. I love how colors mix on the paper. So, so happy to see you are physically ok. ❤ 🙏

Cauliflowers are just how you choose to see them haha.
For the highlights I'm using this pen (affiliate link): amzn.to/3wkIawO
Thank you . Stay safe. 🌹

Thank you so much Bonnie 🙏🏼❤️ Means a lot
Thanks for posting something..have been worried if you are ok

You use neutral tint a lot .is it true
Yes, I used quite a bit of it here 👍
