Paul McCartney just called the prince of darkness “darling”...sick af.
Oar it doesn’t get any more Brit than that
Who knew Paul was so metal?
Thats how non north americans talk, its not that crazy to non ignorant people
Never seen Ozzy fangirl
@John Williams wow, dude. So woke.
McCartney is the only person on earth to ever call Ozzy “darling”. Those two are badasses
I reckon Sharon would have something to say about that.
I mean he grew up in England, he probably got called that every day of his life
Aside from his wife children and anyone else from the uk?
It's so surreal watching Ozzy being starstruck. Like DUDE - YOU'RE OZZY....but THAT'S FUCKING PAUL MCCARTNEY!! lol
@@unknownalien3837 Yeah. He's Ozzy. He's also overrated beyond belief. He was a part of the band that gave birth to metal but Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward all had much larger role to play. Ozzy wasn't exactly an amazing vocalist in his prime (in the 70s) but was at least good, sometimes very good.
Paul McCartney was one half of one of the most prolific songwriting duos of all time. He's a talented multi instrumentalist who could sing pretty damn awesome in his prime (Oh! Darling on Abbey Road anyone?)
btw, please don't come back at me all defensive. I love classic Sabbath and believe Ozzy to have been a great fit for them. However, he was an ok singer in a band with world class musicians. Tony Iommi pretty much invented the metal riff. Wrote all the riffs for the band throughout the decades and was a constant source of awesome riffs that pretty much never ran dry (until 13 when the riffs stopped being out of the world and started becoming average). Geezer was one hell of a bass player and would bend the strings in a time it was pretty much unheard of. Incidentally he was also the primary lyricist fot the band. Bill Ward was one of the greatest drummers alive in my opinion and criminally underrated. Watch his passion and the way he beats the shit out of that kit during in War Pigs Paris 1970.
It’s so weird yet wholesome seeing ozzy act like a child meeting Paul
Mr. Peace and Love meets Mr. Death and Doom. The clash of worlds!
It's very very cool to even see it, even kind of wholesome
Paul isn’t on the same level of Ozzy when it comes to this, but imagine all of the drugs taken JUST between those two.
Dude, you beat me to it. It's wild seeing Ozzy as a fanboy to someone.
It really shows how we're all human, we all have people we look up to, who inspire us, who give us a feeling that we can be better than we are. And then you meet that person in real life, they're right there. And what does your brain do? Blue screen. Like you said, to see a legend loose their shit while meeting their inspiration makes me think. This should've been the number one.
Rob with Babymetal is like a badass grandpa with his badass granddaughters.. 😂

@Mr. snickett so taking acid and having sex makes you bad?

The look on the guys face meeting James is the look i'd have meeting Ozzy. 😆
@Mr. snickett why did you delete your comment then? Had some time to comprehend your own stupidity?

the dude who James gave that guitar to, was about to and did finally cry , which is awesome!
Spooker Red Menace think .. he probably in very young age listens to Metallica and play air too regular guitar.. and love that so much... then his hero comes says hello give you a guitar and autograph.. it’s like a God give one a hang five.. your life is complete and you are happy.. for now.. 😊🤘

Ozzy and McCartney was like watching an angel hug a devil
If I ever make my own album, I think it's safe to say that you gave me an idea for a album-cover.
You ever hear the music McCartney makes with youth from killing joke? Who would have thought he was into industrial.
Don't discount McCartney .. that band were into some shit back in the day.. and without them, some of the hardest rocking mofo's around wouldn't have even got started
Ozzy is the Angel......
both devils...Ozzy is just a little bit lower level.
The Manson and Zombie one felt more like two kids who got caught bullying eachother, and were forced to say nice things to eachother. Especially considering that they were in fact, feuding during that time.
I'm not sure if that clip was from that exact tour, because they've actually done two more tours together since then.
Yeah this footage was after all that childish bullshit. They actually get along now just like in the video
Steamed Aurora Borealis they weren’t feuding at the time. They had made up a while before that video. But yeah it still did feel kinda forced
Zombie seemed way more manufactured, I think Manson is genuine but lacks the ability to express the sentiment in that setting.
d d lol I need to know also
Having Rob, one of the godfathers of heavy metal, say that babymetal are the future is absolutely incredible. I don't think there is praise greater than that.
Ozzy and McCartney is impressive, two immense legends
@Kitten Lyric if, then is cartney the far far far bigger legend. I mean beatles lol ...but yeah ozzy a legend too, definitly
@Kitten Lyric In terms of like the most influential songwriters of the the 20th century who are still alive, there's Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan and then there's everyone else.
@Chris 1983 He said musicians that are alive. Hendrix died quite a while ago.
The way babymetal is staring at Rob is like how you would stare upon the son of Odin.
Imagine when they meet rob zombie
Thor
Cause Rob is literally the definition of the word “Legend”
In a way, thats what was happening
I didnt know babymetal can be seen as musicians.
Imagine how it feels like when you're a young musician and you have Rob Halford in all his glory point at you and your band and say that you're the future of heavy metal
I am no musician but thinking about it gave me chills
Just because it's the future doesn't mean it's bright

Dio was such a class act. Paying Corey that compliment back and seeing how humble those two legends were/are. RIP R.J.D.
Trippy that there's someone Ozzy is starstruck to meet.
Dude Dio is just so humble. He acknowledges Corey's talent and vice versa. Made me proud for having a Dio tatted on me🤘🤘

corey taylor getting the same respect from the actual god of metal who created the devil horns... his heart mustve burst with pride and love omg
You know I laugh pretty hard every time someone call Dio the God of metal because Dio in italian actually means God (and indeed, i don't think that that's a coincidence)
Imagine Ozzy Osbourne fanboying over you. None of us will ever be that influential.
Joan Jett is the best woman in Rock history
Nope, definitely Jinx. She pushed WAY more boundaries than Joan, even though Joan is pretty cool.
Have you ever heard about Smashed Gladys?!I guess no....
How do you figure. I can name atleast 5 woman more deserving of that title and that is not to put her down she is amazing. Also i respect your opinion. My opinion on her was not a fact so dont treat it as such lol.

It's just jaw-dropping to see how Corey reacted when Dio complemented him back, just wow great sports
Metallica wins.
The rest of them were nice compliments, but that guitar gift legitimately changed that dude's life.
The best version of his lifelong dream was eclipsed in that moment.
That whole Acrassicauda documentary was so awesome. Even though he's clearly ecstatic, the guitarist's face can't even begin to show how much that meant to him.
Look at his face,, in that situationif i dont cry of joy ill passed out,,
His face was crazy dude
Respect makes relationship better
James Hetfield moment is worth the whole video.
I legit thought that was just a random kid I didn't know hes in a band ... I wonder if he played that guitar on stage
One of my fav moments is an interview with Matt Heafy, who said that after he blew his vocal cords, one of the first calls he got was from M. Shadows asking how he could help him and actually helped him in a big way. Two of my fav bands as well
That guy when james is signing his guitar he was so blown away... He didnt even expect that to happen
Dio probably meant it, but just the way he put it, he was the gentleman of metal, and seeing him like that makes me miss him even more.
Man, Coreys face when Dio gives him props is amazing :D
I never thought I’d find someone, in this day and age, shorter than Corey Taylor
Joey Jordison is 5'3"
Ronnie James
Ronnie James Dio was a short guy with a voice that was 100 feet tall.
20th century short sleeves🤘
@ GP Lars Ulrich is 5’3” I believe.
Glenn Danzig is another legend standing at only 5'3
Worlds biggest Beatles fan... The prince of darkness!!
I like to see something positive for once and yes it's true we are always inspired by other music and the artists!
Dio RIP. Not just an iconic singer, but an amazing human being as well. Check out some of his interviews here on TH-cam. The man was so kind and understanding to the people around him. There’s one I watched not that long ago where he’s being interviewed on the tour bus. And, if I recall correctly, he’s being interviewed by relative “nobodies”, and a few minutes in, they realize their equipment isn’t recording. And before they can apologize to him, he goes, “Yeah, no worries. Let’s take it from the top again. It’s no problem.” It didn’t bother him one bit. He could tell they were embarrassed, so he tried to put them at ease. I would imagine someone like Cardi B would be like, “You guys are amateurs. I don’t have time for this. Goodbye.”
RIP Dio 🤘

Is it strange how Paul and Ozzy both literally sound exactly like brothers?
Both have the strong English accent and from the exact country as well.
LOL!¬ NO!!! I am from England... strong difference. Ozzy is from Birmingham.... Paul (urrghh) is from Liverpool. Totally different accents if you live in England. It would be like saying that the Texas accent was the same as the Boston accent! x
Zoned 247 yeah ok. I can’t, I guess tell the difference between a Liverpool accent and brummie one. They ain’t too far away in locations right @Zoned 247? I’m not really offended at what you said because you throughly explain your reasons for my assumption I had about Paul and (John)..Ozzy. Yeah for sure it’s pretty darn easy to distinguish nth folks in the US to the sth folks over there. I had two pen pals from the USA and one is residing in sth US and one was nth predominantly in his life. Although he grew up in California with his mother and siblings if I am remembering correctly. Been a long time since him and I have exchanged communication with another 💔💔
Madam C yeah ok..I’m an English/Irish/Scottish/aboriginal woman who is from Australia, ok. Yeah I assumed wrong but seriously don’t be so butthurt about it!
I’m wrong ok and I accept it on the chin. You’re a fair bit dramatic really. People who reside from a different country or land mass do get information not right. Like if you said all Irish sound the same when they talk. I’d explain more respectfully and tell you no they don’t I’m afraid. I have Irish in me and know for sure. I’ve been exposed to a few Irish folks in my line of paid and non paid employment over my adult life. These people explained in a pretty calm and docile manner. It’s not so difficult to be kinder is it from you?? If it’s a hell of an effort then I cease to reply to your reply back to me on this thread. Too sensitive I’m gathering. Nasty people are not to my attention or matter to me in my opinion I’m afraid! Sorry..but not sorry 😐

Why must be hate each other, music is what brings us together! :)
Brutal DeathLord you sir are right
Music is the one language that unites all of humanity. No matter where we come from, no matter what language we speak we can all make music and express emotions through it. And we don't need to understand the words to understand these emotions. That's what makes music so wonderful and powerful
Because Nickleback exist..
Music truly is the universal language. Which soon will be replaced by chinese.
I agree with Brutal DeathLord's heartwarming sentiment.
I had a five minute conversation with Billie Joe. One of the nicest and most humble dudes I’ve ever met.
I would love to just talk to him
I had the same experience with Perry Farrell once. It was my 21st birthday, and he paid for my first legal beer! 😳 🤘
This is pretty much “You’re the best” “No, YOU’RE the best!”
Absolutely loved this one. Anytime we can find positivity in any spectrum of our planet is a good day. Bravo...
Dio so humble and greatful ...considering that he was one of the main founders of metal! RIP Dio! You will never be forgoten !!! Awome to see Corey Taylor paying his respects !
Don't forget The Last Waltz when Neil Young told The Band that it was an honor being on stage with them. Robbie Robertson is stunned.
Imagine Dio telling you "same respect goes back to you, I know how good you are as well"
Bruh that must've been surreal tho

Seeing corey taylor nerd out over dio just warms my heart
This was really sweet. We need more videos like this, especially in these shitty and uncertain times.. 😇
God, that last one got me. RIP, Dio. That throne needed you.
“The same respect goes right back to you. I know how good you are too. “
Love that.
I thought Rob Halford was wearing a Thriller jacket
RodeKiller I thought it was Deadpool
Imagine Ronnie James fucking Dio saying the words "I know how good you are" right to your face holy shit.
Corey nearly shat himself once Dio told him the same goes for him. “I know how good you are too!” - he just about collapsed!
Moments with Paul and Corey melt my heart the fact I've seen them both in concert is so fulfilling I am so grateful and blessed
These are simply just good, talented people.
That was very wholesome and fun to watch. Thank you for this! It was very cool to see what Rob Halford said about Baby Metal. They're different for sure and that's what makes them so fun to watch. I saw them play with Avatar last year and their stage show is something which you have to see to believe. Very cool to see some of the kings of the industry giving respect to a group who so many seem to belittle all the time.

Ozzy was so sweet and cute with Paul!!! It’s honestly so cool to see these kinds of things. To see all the love in this compilation gives me such joy and hope. For all of these people I have such high respect. And I hope that one day if my hard work pays off I can spread the love even more❤️🤘
I think Dave kinda had to hype up that guy since no one has ever heard of him.
How beautiful those moments... Amazing. The Metallica's one... Put tears in my eyes!!!

This is why I want to be a rock star, not for money o parties, just to meet other rock stars.
Ozzy and Paul McCartney is kind of strange. Makes them look so normal, none of the rockstar business.
Different times Different eras.
Really shows the progression of metal.
I LOVE when people are nice to each other
Funny that there's subtitles when Blink-182 are on stage but not during the actual conversation, which is basically unintelligable to me. I guess there's some fanboying but if someone's got better ears please give me a transcript! :)
Also the Metallica/Acrassicauda moment may actually be the cutest thing I've ever seen.
Basically someone told travis/blink to meet mgk, can't really understand the first half of what kells says, but after he says that he's been a fan since warped tour in 6th grade. The subtitles are from the original video posted by mgk years ago where it also shows how Mark found mgk and Tom discussing conspiracy theories

I love how awkward some of them were, not in that them being fans were awkward but rather that especially with some cases like Manson and Zombie, both of them are quiet and mostly soft-spoken men not given to very energetic speech and so it was clearly hard to get across just how much they respected one another in an emotional way because of how quiet and reserved they are by nature.
