Nice to see a few Ford Transcontinentals in there. I worked for a Ford main dealer, and recall one of our customers having a Transcon wrecked in Poland, and the truck was recovered back to the UK for rebuild with a new cab.
Great snapshots of history, classic Atkinson Borderer and White, there's so many different trucks here you could easily have a top 10,but which would be no1, the drivers truck of the day? 🤔.
At night on the 74 keep your elbows in ..A Pand S contracts..?Mack would whizz past you ...Sheffield to Baillieston up and down in one go....Loinstirring stuff...Knitting needles (2 stick gear change) Happy Days.!!!!
There cannot be many A.Joynson's about @7.31. I wonder if it's the same Arthur Joyson who ran Panapina trailers to Germany with a six wheeler Volvo in the early ninties.
Best collection of British trucks I have come across. I recognised lots of names that have disappeared from memory. Loved the music too.
Excellent. Some good old firms and lorries on there👍🏼 thanks for sharing.
Great photos Nivens used to call into our yard in Monmouth for a return load up north.
Another superb video , I really enjoy them ! Thank you and keep em coming 👍

I often sub-contracted work to G Scott of Lesmahagow when I worked at W H Bowker Glasgow.
