In my opinion, two of the greatest franchises in the history of the NFL...two that have met in 3, yes 3 Super Bowls and have a rivalry born out of those matchups which were all hotly contested, hard-hitting and full of teams that were considered dynasties. So, every time these two teams meet it seems to be special. I'm a Dallas fan and I used to despise the Steelers, but being 54 and watching all the matchups as a kid in the 70's and then as a young man in the 90's until today as a man heading down the home stretch of life, I have learned to have the utmost respect for the Steeler franchise. They play tough hard-nosed football year in and year out and though I love my Cowboys, I only wish we had owners like the Rooneys instead of a pig-like Jerry!! This game was a classic and yes, it should have been the Super bowl that year...one can imagine.

Dallas Cowboys also had nonsense clock management, running down the clock but gave Pittsburgh Steelers two chances of overturning the result by scoring touchdowns too soon, thankfully it did not happen. In my opinion, two of the greatest franchises in the history of the NFL...two that have met in 3, yes 3 Super Bowls and have a rivalry born out of those matchups which were all hotly contested, hard-hitting and full of teams that were considered dynasties. So, every time these two teams meet it seems to be special. I'm a Dallas fan and I used to despise the Steelers, but being 54 and watching all the matchups as a kid in the 70's and then as a young man in the 90's until today as a man heading down the home stretch of life, I have learned to have the utmost respect for the Steeler franchise. They play tough hard-nosed football year in and year out and though I love my Cowboys, I only wish we had owners like the Rooneys instead of a pig-like Jerry!! This game was a classic and yes, it should have been the Super bowl that year...one can imagine.

This is not really a good game. The reckless two-point conversion attempts by Pittsburgh Steelers destroyed the game, started from a nonsense first try, followed by chasing losses as a gambler. Dallas Cowboys also had nonsense clock management, running down the clock but gave Pittsburgh Steelers two chances of overturning the result by scoring touchdowns too soon, thankfully it did not happen.
