I was born 1987 as well. Lots of memories in that store. It’s cool to see another like minded collector. I have thousands of toys from our era as well and constantly looking for more!
That’s a awesome store and thank you RETRO RICK for taking us on the journey. That store was stacked with gems. A lot of childhood memories. Retro is always picking up the 🔥🔥🔥. I appreciate the footage and I am looking forward to the next. BIG SHOUT OUT TO RETRO FOR ALWAYS COMING THRU WITH 🔥🔥CONTENT. “Gimme Gimme Gimme Jimmy woods”
Holy cow Rick! My wife and I went there when we went on vacation to north Texas for a week in early June to go to the NVM. I think I got my best Galaga score on that machine. Nice!
Love the E.T. bank man, very unique! I wish I had a few of my old street sharks I loved them lol. Great video, glad you & your buddies had a nice haul.
The Street Shark in the thumbnail drew me in immediately 😂 I remember getting the rollerblading Jawsome one when my aunt took me to Toys R Us one night, back when I was about 5 years old. I loved it so much and wish so badly I still had some of those toys. Still have quite a few from those days, but there’s a couple, like the Jawsome toy, and my sickeningly awesome collection of the super OG Pokémon cards from 2000+, that I still kick myself for not holding onto
Great video as always Sir. As far as my favorite thing I have two… I was a big GI Joe , Masters of the Universe and Thundercats kid. One Christmas I volunteered at the Salvation Army picking out the toys for the kids wish lists and it was a great experience and because it was voluntary I didn’t expect anything, but on Christmas Day I woke up to this massive GI Joe battle ship (the one you saw in the store) and I was so stoked. I loved that thing and had so many adventures with it, Second thing I loved was just seeing the action figures of my youth brought back a lot of memories,
I worked at a toy store back in the late 80s and early 90s the store was called toy city a Canadian version of toys r us and almost ever toy showed I stocked on shelves or pegged so awesome seeing all these toys again thank you awesome channel ❤👍
Rick I want to thank you 🙏🏻 for your great content and videos , if it wasn’t for me being so addictive to watching your cool videos I don’t think I’d be here right now . Last night around midnight I was on my way too work when I stopped at a stop sign too finish this video , then while pulling up too a red light after I waited on a red light and right before I was going to take off this BMW runs the red light and if I would of went he would of side swiped me 😬 . But thank god I’m here and alive , thank you 🙏🏻 again and my family thanks you keep up those great videos and we will keep watching 👍🏻
I think the E.T. bank was cool and unique as it looks like a ceramic craft someone would have painted at home and poured from a mold ...but they generally were never actually licensed products from the movie company ..as I think it's the same for this bank...but that's what makes that even cooler honestly ..
Man, if I was there I’d buy so much of the He-Man toys. Castle Greyskull would be coming home with me easily. Wish we had stores in my area like that. Wife would keep me away from it lol.
Born 79’ uk guy here, I was lucky enough to have castle grey skull, then sent to boarding school and my parents gave it to a charity shop (thrift store) 😢😢😢
Omg nostalgia overload! The Japanese version of the power rangers are still making new episodes to this day. From 1975-2021 is amazing and i thought the power rangers from 1993-2021 was an impressive feat. Funny thing about power rangers is despite not being on the air for 20 years they've accumulated 28 seasons as of 2021. The Japanese version must have triple that number.
I'm into Starwars and there's a lot to collect, almost too much but I'm pretty much into the villains, bounty hunters, the creatures and certain ships only, that's enough.
@7:25 I nearly had a heart attack there. I've always been a mega Ninja Turtles fan. If I had seen this TMNT Pinball machine as a kid I would have literally cried right there on the spot (crying out of joy, that is). The Turtles were my first childhood heroes.
Your right, it is modok, but its not a statue . It's a build a figure ,action figure from the marvel legends toyline made by Toybiz , Hasbro actually remade it ,but I prefer the Toybiz version.
I miss Dallas Vintage Toys. Used to frequent there when I lived in the DFW area. My pocket book thanks me because I would be so poor. The way you look at Voltron and Turtles is how I look at Transformers and GIJoe. I'm more 80's toys myself and seeing all of them brings back such nostalgia from my childhood and collecting them. That one toy you saw with the GIJoe and Transformers crossover is fairly new I believe. It's a hybrid Shockwave vehicle. But I'm a little fuzzy past that.
Back to the future is my fave along with Toy Story and Star Wars. Didn't see any of these until they were released on vhs. My church didn't believe in going to the movies. I had such fun watching these on vhs for the first time. I even was late for work one morning when jaws came on tv. Had never seen it even on tape. While everyone else was over it, I was having the time of my life in my own living room.😁👍
I like vintage toys. I saw archie from the comic books i didnt know they had toys for like archie, veronica 😢😅 im 86 babycand seeing all these are like bringing my childhood dream toys
Voltron, transformers, Ulysses 31, TMNT, G-Force or Battle of the Planets, Astro Boy, Kimba, the White Lion... Was my favourite 80s TV shows i own some today on VHS and DvD
I would go nuts in this store he-man toys cartoons and even the movie with Dolph lundren playing heman and courtny cox in it as well, thundercats, Voltron GI Joe brings me back to good time's
Really enjoyed seeing that battle truck from Congo. I had several of those figures as a kid. Kehega, Monroe, and I belive the gorillas Mangler and Blast Eye. Prey worthy of the Predators to come and hunt. Also loved The Tick toy. Very cool place.
Awesome, I got a race track from the early 80s the way fast unsafe kinds...lol I got when I was a kid....found one at a thrift store had it for like 5 years and it got lost, found it in my parents shed where my dad put it and it was completely destroyed...I was so pissed...still am. Lol
What are the little gyrocopter things from the 90s where you snap the disk into place and yanked a string to spin it , THEN hit a button to launch . Their where circular with inner blades ,like impellers...it was somethin battle copter or choppers or something of that concept if not literally worded as that .
Favorite movie of all time is definitely Edward Scissorhands, I don't even have to think about it. It's been my favorite since I was a little kid, and it's the only movie I watch every year (aside from Charlie Brown Christmas, but I wouldn't call that a movie....though if it were factored into the equation, it would be the clear winner lol)
Awesome vintage store, Et collectibles especially the bank was awesome and my favorite, tmnt bike, when I think of Herman I grew up with those toys, I also think of Dolph Lundgren as Heman and it was one of the first movie Courtney Cox was ever in. I would never spend $600 on that ET life size, insane price. Love that Slimer. Hey Rick, An’t that large Slimer the same one that video game store had where you went with a friend where he got the Tv built with the NES Nintendo with Super Mario Bros??? Rick thanks for giving us the grand tour
Im a 87 baby as well Febuary , Love all these vintage toys! its crazy because i see all these old toys i havent thought of since i was a kid!

I had the E.T. bank, dropped it in the driveway back in like 84 when we were moving. Nice find!
This video was AMAZING! Rick is a retro god!
When I was in kindergarten, I would have my mom wake me up an hour early because Voltron and GI Joe came on before school.
haha i love that...those were the days!
I HAD THAT TURTLE BIKE AS A KID AND SOMEONE STOLE IT!!! You unlocked that memory.
Great video as always Sir. As far as my favorite thing I have two… I was a big GI Joe , Masters of the Universe and Thundercats kid. Edit: Ah no, it's Modok, from Marvel.
he was quick with Sandlot, respect. very cool toy store
Love the nes tmnt music in the video.. very nostalgic for me. Never forget that tune
I have been wanting to visit that shop ever since I saw their pics on Facebook. Thanks for the tour.
Hi from France 🇨🇵, it's amazing to see a shop like that, we don't have anything like it back home 🥺
Dude I love your videos im 29 and it takes me back and I still love and have some of my old toys
Street Sharks and Biker Mice from Mars, man. Gold.
The unmistakeable Street fighter theme coming from the arcade machine was incredible to hear!

Your right, it is modok, but its not a statue . It's a build a figure ,action figure from the marvel legends toyline made by Toybiz , Hasbro actually remade it ,but I prefer the Toybiz version.
Look for the Tiger Shark! Street Shark Comics were Awesome!
Miss K.B.Toy and Toys R Us. My kiddos would get lost for hours in those stores.

That big floating head Marvel figure was MODOK. He's a villain to The Avengers.

That tmnt pinball was really cool! I never saw one as a kid
A fantastic shop with a fantastic host great video my good man
Cool stuff! But this also makes me thankful I’ve stopped collecting most the stuff I used to collect, just so much money on stuff that sits around.
