Seeing those girls in the back, looking so bored and unimpressed just bites my backside! I've been waiting for an opportunity like this since 2005 and there they are looking like they'd rather be someplace else. I can't imagine what it must be like to be close enough to actually feel his voice while he's singing. One day I'll know.
I wasn't judging anyone. Commenting on the observable facts of their behavior in no way qualifies as a moral judgement on them as people. I'm sure they are wonderful human beings - that has nothing to do with the lack of enjoyment they are exhibiting during this performance. There's barely a smile, sigh, head bop, or foot tap among them.
Jason himself isn't a huge fan of the studio albums. He thinks they're 2 dimensional. And in his case they really are since he's such a phenomenal live performer.
I always tend to find myself watching this video at least once a day. But why does it seem like those girls in the back are like, sighs..... this is boring. No excited facial expressions whatsoever. I mean c'mon, do you even know whats going on right now. You are sitting about 5 feet away from one of the best artists of our time. Its freakin Jason Mraz.
