THANK YOU!!!! I'm new to crocheting and you have saved me from buying yarns that won't hold up to wear. Priceless!

I’ve wondered about different acrylic yarns since I learned to crochet in January. Your work up is the most thorough out there. Thank you for all your hard work!

Thank you for all this information. Your videos been very useful. I have yarn decision paralysis. I'm at the point where I don't want to put in all that crochet work if my project ends up looking like a yard sale purchase after a few washings.

Just wanted to say u made me rethink my yarn purchases in terms of the extra work certain yarn may put on the gifted so I’m going to purchase more acrylic yarn except for those few ppl I know take very good care of their accessories! Also I didn’t know about the lack of chemicals in some yarn!!!
Ty for the comparison, it has been crazy helpful!!!

OH MY GOSH! You put so much work into this and I THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm constantly going back and forth on yarn and you were able to provide me with all the details on the things I look for in yarns! I avoid so many projects because I'm not confident in my choice of yarn, especially when it comes to the online yarns! I haven't ordered anything online yet because I was terrified I would hate it! I loved all the swatches you did so I could see them for myself.

THANK YOU. I am forever asking these questions and never get a clear answer. Was just about to buy Holly Lobby but the video changed my direction. Embarked on a larger MKAL blanket for a high school grad gift that I want to last. 1/2 way thru w/RHSS and realize he is not going to be happy with the colors so will finish for myself but will now head over to your #1 blanket choice and hope there is a variety of colors based on changing color ways suggested for each clue. Thank you. Will try to use one of your affiliate links you deserve it

Thank you so much for the comparison!
For baby items, Big Twist also has a baby yarn that's even softer because of added viscose. I believe the ball band includes the same exact care instructions as the value so I am not sure how it would hold up to wash and dry.

I very much appreciate this. You have helped me save so much time in the yarn selection process for an ongoing project, and when I heard you mention 'squeak' in terms of workability, I no longer think I am the only one who can't tolerate that. As to Premier Everyday AntiPilling ranking so high in terms of softness and drape, I must disagree. I recently tried it as a replacement for Premier's Deborah Norville branded, discontinued yarn, which I prefer. But my intent was to crochet a design I am working on, and maybe all the twists in crochet affect its softness and drape. For that project I will most likely use a Pima cotton. Thank you!

The softness of Premier Everyday Antipilling probably can't compare to the softness of a nice pima cotton. There's a reason why this was an acrylic only comparison. :)

I just watched all of your review videos. Very helpful and thank you for your insight. I was surprised that impeccable did so well. Have you considered Big Twist Classic? I knitted two baby blankets and really liked the finished product.

I was surprised Impeccable did well too! I mean it's still not my favorite, but it's hard to beat that durability.
I have not tried Big Twist Classic, but I would love to get some to compare with the Big Twist Value. One of my blog goals for the year is to continue to expand the acrylic yarn comparison by adding "sister" yarns like Big Twist Classic. :)

THANK YOU for this video series and the info on your blog. This sounds extremely time consuming. Most take the easy way out and only show how pretty the yarn looks or how soft it feels to them. Maybe they will show a swatch here and there or something they made, but with no follow-up on how it held up after wear and/or washing. That's all well and good. However like you, I worried about giving acrylic things that would look ratty after just a few washes. Embarassing!!!! Premier Anti-Pilling was already my top choice. I loved I Love This Yarn while I was working with it, but it pilled horribly after a few washes. Red Heart Ombre pilled the worst all. Subscribed to your channel, and I'll keep checking your website chart for updates. Just know your hard work is greatly appreciated.
