22 of 37 cases reviewed showed harm and more than half of those severe harm. 699 cases remain to be reviewed.

Every elite organisation first protects its reputation, then its "brothers" (usually brothers especially men in senior positions) and only finally those who they are meant to protect with their services.

Also around 2013 spent some time working / training in Australia. If Ormond Street hospital didn't spot his incompetence at interview stage or sooner whilst working, that speaks of serious other concerns beyond his training, such as patient and staff complaints procedures, culture and how doctors are inspected, reviewed continuing into their career.

Bunty is a beautiful child and I hope she is fully recovered despite the shocking negligence of Great Ormond Street Hospital and the surgeon, who should be struck off and punished for the harm he has caused to so many children.
I hope Bunty receives ample compensation to give her the best artificial limbs for the rest of her long and happy life ahead.

It's really important for doctors to take good care of their patients and make sure they do everything right. We all need to try our best to help others and make good choices, just like we learn at school about being kind and careful. It's sad when mistakes happen that hurt people. We should always work hard to do our best and help each other.
