It’s because this is built around a drum machine style interface. FL studio is set up around a sequencer style. I started out making techno on sequencers like 20 years ago so I know those inside and out. I can put together a drum beat on one. But I struggle with drum machines and things like launchpad. Especially to make drum beats. lol

They ask you if you want to watch tutorials for every separate plug-in on that thing. But for some reason I'm less inclined to listen to their sponsored tutor.

My son wants to make beats with me so this is definitely something I’m willing to invest in. For beginners this is the best way to start versus buying the expensive equipment unless you buy it second hand
I make beats on my iPad my iPhone and my MacBook I have been making beats since I was 13. Understand just because he shows you a tutorial doesn’t mean you will come out good. Making beats takes hard work and diligence and practice and it’s a gift and talent .
Bro... I'm 37, I started on the old Casio's and Yamahas that my father used for church to make beats at home in my room on punishment lol and off 😂 . I didn't have computer back then... heck... no one really had a comp back then 😂🤣lol. What's crazy is a lot of producers now can't track out a beat on a keyboard ,all they know is cheating or something. I made straight beats with no quantize no loop button that could actually copy and paste I had to play the whole drum pattern all the way through on one track with three keys or four at the same time. And if you read this and you say “I don't know what Hes talking about” ? to the other youtubers that's exactly my point LOL . . Creating a drum track on keys playing hi hat close and open, a bass drum, and snare, then adding bass lines, strings or horns. Keys or whatever sound. When I turned 19 ,,FL came out in the early 2000s lol. Had to learn different then. Thanks bro for the comment and love ..keep making bangers🔥

It's funny how the iPad makes for a solid beat machine. I remember when I bought the MPC 4000 then learned about beatmaker 2. I was like WTF I just spent $2900 when the app was way better than the MPC 4000 for $20. Seems like the I pad could use a control surface and in and outputs to out due the MPC X.
I used to mess around with an old 909, then later the Korg electribe, kind of a rip off of 808, I can't believe the technology these days, so dope. Thanks so much for educating us. God bless❤️❤️❤️

I use workstation synths instead, currently I use a Roland FA-07. - But I plan to start using software, such as DAWs, Samplers, and Virtual Instrument and FX Processing software soon. Akoben Renaissance I never looked back fam and I was raised on reasons since 3.2 but once I started making beats on the iPad it just opened my creativity up even more and gave me a work flow where I can make several beats a day or make a beat write a song to that beat record then release all in one day, I just dropped a song on Friday on my channel, the beat was made in Beatmaker3 then I recorded my vocals in GarageBand using various vst’s in iOS world called auv3 like HarmonizeFX, cubasis2 for effects and final touch for touching up the mix and I’m forgetting others but u get the gist

Akoben Renaissance I never looked back fam and I was raised on reasons since 3.2 but once I started making beats on the iPad it just opened my creativity up even more and gave me a work flow where I can make several beats a day or make a beat write a song to that beat record then release all in one day, I just dropped a song on Friday on my channel, the beat was made in Beatmaker3 then I recorded my vocals in GarageBand using various vst’s in iOS world called auv3 like HarmonizeFX, cubasis2 for effects and final touch for touching up the mix and I’m forgetting others but u get the gist
Akoben Renaissance bro I absolutely agree, I’m 33 and had the same visions as a child of the future and music production, I remember watching the movie total recall and they had stationary FaceTime like phones on they’re desk and I thought to myself I would never see technology like that in my lifetime........a few decades later I’m making beats with a mobile device that I watch more movies on then my own tv while FaceTiming.....if ppl don’t know we in the future they better wake up and I appreciate you taking the time out to listen to my music fam🙏🏾
