I bought this on release after finding it in Spring's Next Fest. Very fun little game, thank you for making it. I was very surprised to see that you were the same developer as Jelly Car.
THE FINISH LINE MEANS NOTHING WHEN YOU'RE BUILT FOR SPEED Incredible game, great work! I hope you still enjoy working on it because I'd absolutely pay for an expansion of new tracks :)
This game is insane. Some of the most fun arcade racing like ever???? It’s so genius and the tracks are all so much fun. I really hope there’s a way to get more in the future.
Beautiful game. I think this will do well on Switch, but it can certainly benefit from having more tracks and prehaps modes? I think that can justify a higher price on Switch and will satisfy critics
Such a cool little game. It is quite addicting actually. Just my type of game - intense in short bursts. Trying to get gold medals on some tracks so far has been... challenging but fun. Thanks for making this cool game.
been looking forward to this for a while , really hope it gets popular!! you did a great job with the concept , Gameplay , style , and honestly everything else! and it makes me happy that you used Godot for it
I bought this a couple days ago, its super fun. Please please please consider making more tracks or levels in general!!!! Even if they are simpler with less gimmicks and hazards.
Just discovered this game and im going to buy it now on steam! But first: What is your relation to music? I saw a very high quality music production on your games! Are you a musician? Or the sound design is from another person/studio/company? Anyway, great game with an great idea!
I’ve had the good fortune to collaborate with great musicians! Matt McCarthy for JellyCar, and The Holophonics for Parking Garage Rally Circuit! I’m not a musician myself.
I should probably try instead of asking, but taking a glance at the system requirements: it looks like the Linux version would run on a Raspberry Pi 400 or Pi 4 (4GB+), is that correct?
yeah, but nobody buys premium, controller-only games on mobile, at least not enough to go through the trouble of supporting mobile (replacing steam leaderboards, ghosts, multiplayer, etc)
This game looks great and has an amazing atmosphere. Unfortunately, after playing for an hour, I must refund it. The physics absolutely break at higher speeds and the tracks are not made with the main mechanics in mind. After chaining a lot of boosts, it's near impossible to stay on the course and the cars start wall riding, doing flips, hitting the ceiling etc. Such a shame, because the TT is right up my alley as I love both Rally games and Trackmania. I hope to get back to this title in maybe a year and see if it improves!
Once you chain enough boosts you really need to start managing your speed a lot more aggressively, by coasting while drifting, and braking while drifting.
"If you go too fast, you start crashing more often" I wonder what you'll say if you play Burnout 3 or Burnout Paradise, use the Formula One car - the fastest vehicle by sheer top speed - , and then try to go an entire minute without immediately slamming into *anything*. Personally, I find it fun that if you do go nuts with the boosts and the speed, you end up slamming into edges of jumps and flying over barriers. I mean, if you're taking the game so seriously that after a singular hour of gameplay, you can't engage with the silly physics, then no amount of time "improving" it will make it better for you. The physics and the whole silliness of its system is baked into the game. Also, a single hour of gameplay obviously won't give you the game skills to actually, you know, learn how to properly control the car at high speeds, lol I'm not saying, 'give the game another shot.' It’s more that PGRC might just be too silly for your taste. Rally and Trackmania offer tight control and reward precise skill, while this game - although it does have tight controls and a clear skill ceiling - also embraces a bit of chaos and unpredictability. It sounds like you came in expecting a controlled experience but got something far more wild and unpredictable instead.

apparently I like cars-but-not-quite-racing games :P
@@WalaberEntertainment I really love the controls, driving around just feels really crisp and fun. You captured Mario Kart style drifting very well

Incredible game, great work! I hope you still enjoy working on it because I'd absolutely pay for an expansion of new tracks :)
my current focus is to add split-screen multiplayer, and then ideally some kind of mod support. more tracks are something I'm considering!
@@WalaberEntertainment do we have hotseat (turn-based, single-controller) multiplayer in the meantime?
Legit one of my all time favorite racers now. This game oozes style and vibes. Can't wait for more maps (hopefully)

Hope your game gets more traction man, this was an amazing discovery! I’m enjoying my time with the game throughly 😊
thank you!
lining up the narration with the gameplay at 1:11 is peak game-trailer-dopamine. i applaud you 👏
thank you for noticing :)
Hopefully this will sell well enough on Steam to be able to port this masterpiece to PS4/5 in near-future.
Okay this game looks like a lot of fun!
And i really like the overview trailer. Very well made!
love the graphics, sends me back to my ps1/ps2 childhood!

thanks for playing! 🤩
As a Minnesotan, the snow is very accurate.

Great game absolutely love the drift mechanics, I would be happy to pay for more tracks
The game seems to do quite well on Steam it's great stuff!

This reminds me of Ignition/Fun Tracks, really cool.
highly underrated game, I hope more courses are added in the future
holy crap, i just realized this exists thanks to a random stream by Jeff Gerstman... it looks amazing! i can't wait to try it!
wait, Jeff Gerstman mentioned my game? wow!
I think it's a really good idea. I wish this game was on Android so I could try it out :)

Very cool!
You're very well spoken. Very strange for a developer.
Any plans for Switch?
If it sells well on Steam!

I haven't tested it myself, but I'd imagine it will run ok.
The Raspberry series of computers are ARM based, so no sadly.
Jeeze, you know you're old when new games look similar to what they did when you were 8.
1:08 My god this tutorial car is so cute. Is there any way to unlock it for gameplay?????
It is (using a cheat code)
@@WalaberEntertainment Aaaaaaa, I see! That's so cool yo
Man this game is amazing! Can we have more music with vocals please?
The 2 songs with vocals are my favorite too :P
Are you still 110th?
Switch version?
If sales are strong on Steam I'll do it.
@@WalaberEntertainment seems like a good fit for a portable system 🤷🏿♂️
Gg bro
Put the controller car in the game.
Oh wait...
I still think it will be great game on mobile with controller

Gotta love pronouncing New Orleans as New Orleans

Have you listened to the soundtrack yet?!?! It's glorious
