R.I.P David - you were always real, the best your own very special way. I had this on tape late 70s, still just brilliant! If this had been played in disco late 70s I could have visited more often... Extremely mellow and same time tight playing, lovely sax, flute etc, fucking amazing, sounds more or less live - real people letting it all out with lovely home made mix! He was also the real king of punk, check out!
I only heard of this guy from his brief association with John Lennon in the early 70's and had ZERO expectations. This would've made a fantastic instrumental album, yet this guy couldn't sing a tune to save his life. He obviously couldn't write lyrics either, as the songs are so bare bones and repetitious.
