Every time I hear this song, I remember when Magistra Yaela sacrificed herself so Jespar and I could get away from the Steel Bird in the Sky City. It was sad to lose her. Her look and voice reminded me of my gram in a way, but she was also an interesting character...a sort of witty, scholarly grandmother figure. The NPCs who share parts of the main quest - Yaela, Constantine Firespark, Jespar, Calia, others - have such soul and depth. Wonderfully made game.
This song somehow sounds like a person is desperately overcoming obstacles in crucial time while trying to save (the only) person he/she loves, really pumps my heart very fast!
This is by far the best game I've played all year, I don't get why so few people have played it, around the world millions of people play Skyrim on the PC yet Enderal has less than 200,000 downloads on Nexus, what the hell is going on Enderal is better than Skyrim and that's saying something because Skyrim is a great game, I just don't get it.
Enderal is still relatively new with lots of bugs. But the team is determinant on fixing them. Currently they are also taking user feedback on the subreddit forums. Very promising game. Cant wait till the scene is a little more matured, and you will start seeing an inflow of mods for the game just like how people modded skyrim. Give it time.
This game just hits so hard. It beats Skyrim..in many ways at the least. The mysteries, the shock, those plot-twists, the romance.. Im just sooo carried away by all this, and the music. ahh :) One of the BEST GAME ever made!!
die szene hätte es nicht geben sollen... ich hab das spiel gespielt um am ende als einziger zu überleben um hinterher gott zu spielen, den wächter hätte ich überleben lassen damit er die fehler sieht die ich mache und wenn nötig meinem nachfolger erzählt was er nicht tun darf, sollte ich scheitern. hätte mir ein wenig mehr entscheidungsfreiheit gewünscht.
TBH idk which is better. I'm tempted to say this but that may very well be because this is new whereas I'm used to the normal skyrim music but I do remember how blown away I was by it at first. Still its VERY impressive considering this was produced by fans of the game.
No Enderal is not what Skyrim should have been. Both games have different focuses and styles. Enderal is more about the story and emotion, Skyrim is more about the world, adventure and politics. I can assure many people from skyrim wouldnt like the style of play in enderal. Enderal does things differently but that doesn't make it better.
I think that enderal is the better game, except if skyrim is heavily modded but then it can't really be considered as the same, but i do think enderal is not what skyrim should be. Others already said they are different kinds of games, however while that's true i think Elder scrolls could really use what makes enderal so good. Just imagine enderal with the size of skyrim for a world, just as many side quests and the skills/perk system of skyrim while still having that great story. I think that would be the ideal elder scrolls game. I also really love what they did with food so that it's actually extremely useful compared to skyrim where potions were just better. i also like the idea of having an actual level that isn't based off leveling your skills and instead based off a basic exp system like enderal's, and i also like how they removed hp regen making the game difficult but not super hard. While i think the books were a great way to make sure your character progressed well throughout the story they aren't fun unlike skyrims leveling. The perks just also aren't as good but then again expecting them to have made trees like skyrims without just copying them is expecting a bit much they did good, but it's not nearly perfect. The music however i fully believe was just better. Idk if maybe i just didn't notice it but i hate the skyrim combat music and how it's always the same or at least it feels like it's always the same and it gets repetitive however idk if enderal still had that but i didn't notice repetitive music. Oh also i forgot to add earlier on as long as they made it so that the game just didn't end after the ending or something like that so that you could finish the main quest and then just keep going. Then again you could also just reload to before you got to the point where you were locked into the main quest either way.
Cyber Cyrus you're right character progression sucked in Enderal. No idea why they used the skill book system it's just plain bad I can't figure out why they went with that. Have you played Nehrim. In nehrim you level your skills through trainers. You just visit one and choose which skills you want to improve. It was quick, convienant and easy. Weird that they got rid of that, it was a close to perfect system.
Still playing Enderal, but even though I love skyrim, I'm liking enderal more... The story is more emotional, characters have more deph, the world is so alive and it does not seen repetitive....Enderal is awesome...(Also soundtrack is hella epic)

Zugegebenermaßen objektiv gesehen war die Story nicht sooooo gut (nicht falsch verstehen, ich finde sie exzellent), es gibt mit Sicherheit bessere Plots; mich hat aber die emotionale Bindung, die ich zu Jespar und Calia aufgebaut habe geflasht. Ich vergleiche das am Ende gern mit Life is Strange
Die Story hat emotional berührt, auch aber nicht allein durch die 2 Companions, und ist darüber hinaus auch alles andere als hohl, wie man es heut zu tage leider gewohnt ist. Mir fällt spontan keine bessere Fantasy Story ein.
Da muss ich dir in jedem Punkt Recht geben, Dean Cutter Die gesamte Geschichte war so perfekt ausgearbeitet, angefangen mit der erschreckend gut und realistischen mittelalterlichen Welt von Vyn. Und dem wunderbaren, nicht überbenutzen Domino-Effekt, den man verspürt hat. Die Probleme von Enderal sind die unweigerlichen Folgen von all den Ereignisse, die sich im letzten Spiel, auf Nehrim abgespielt haben. Die Geschichte ist so fesselnd und großartig erzählt, dass all die kleineren Geschichten und Geschehnisse auf Enderal da perfekt hereinspielen. Sogar die Charaktere waren so glaubwürdig ausgearbeitet und Gesprochen. Und nicht nur die Hauptfiguren, diese Komplexität reicht von einem Kontantin Funkenschlag bis zu einer Andrasta Tapferblutes. Und ich Sachen Story Telling...Diese Twists und der...Ich könnte hier noch Stunden davon erzählen weshalb das Spiel auf allein schon auf einer rein geschichtlichen Ebene perfekt inszeniert ist, so schön ist das.

Bethesda games have not been good not modded for elder scrolls since morrowind and debateably oblivion and for fallout it has been since fallout 3 (new vegas is from obsidian) Bethesda will forever on be the one to lay the first stepping stone to greatness for modders but not themselves the modding community is the driving force that drives Bethesda without them all they would have to show for is is some half assed buggy games fallout 4 , skyrim these by themselves are kinda shit , modders have much more investment , love and time into their projects , Bethesda will always lie in the shadow of modders Bethesda build the foundation but modders built the house

Never thought I'd play a mod longer than I have played vanilla Skyrim.
And I'm gonna play it more due to the new DLC and secret ending.
