I was quite verbal during the one reload where I managed to kill her.

But it’s been done before - starlings tried to escape the cycle and didn’t succeed, The Aged Man taken this very route that starling city ending is trying to achieve (even brought his wife with him, like the Prophet does with their companion) in his cycle and failed, because he thought that he also can escape the cycle and teach new civilisation (he tells us this and books in his cabinet say “Pride was my fall”). The Ego, the pride is main theme in games plot, and Black Guardian was blinded by his. The only true end to cycle is to learn how to let go - to know, when you must trust others with accomplishing what you can’t done, to understand, that you aren’t omnipotent and not some “hero” of others story. So the self-sacrifice is true escape of the cycle - it was never done before in previous ones, and the Prophet let go of they ego and pride, humbly trusting their mission in others hands. The dream flower elixir is something you can’t trust, the mission of saving the world is too important to risk it by consuming the elixir
For the ones who played through Enderal, this track hits right in the feels. Bloody powerful and emotional. Simply brilliant game. That final fight with your loved one standing by your side, accompanied by this theme was literally the best last stand in a video game ever. Characters felt so real. I'll never forget this experience in my life as a gamer. Thank you SureAI.

i haven't finished playing this game, but i can tell the ending is going to rip my heart out. the whole game too just has such an underlying sort of tragic atmosphere, and sometimes you don't notice the feeling, but i think the music often reminds you of it when you get distracted by seemingly mundane quests or picturesque environments. i feel like i'm going to go into withdrawal after finishing this game.
*Spoilers* When the black guardian confirmed Calia was dead (Crushed by rock) and then tricked you into taking his place, this song started and Calia came to save you and fight together. That was my favorite, most badass moment in gaming. Enderal is a masterpiece, Thank you Sureai!

That was also my experience with the dragon, with the addendum of me reloading my save, equipping all of my fire resist gear, and shitstomping said dragon. (Okay, I may have hid behind pillars and filled the dragon with arrows like a prissy elven bitch, but the fire still hurt like hell)
Man Wards are your fucking savior, the dragon can't break them and they negate all damage. I killed him at level fifteen with a full mage build cause of that spell

My favorite part of this song is how visceral it is. The Prophet is weak, considering how surrounded they are by better fighters, spellcasters, thinkers, and tacticians. But when shit hits the fan, they’re always in a position to change the balance of the scales. And they’ll fight tooth and nail, using everything at their disposal to win.

In the Living Temple this OST starts playing when the boss battle starts (I won't go further into details because that will spoil the story) but what is the song called just before that moment? Does someone know?
Skyrim's soundtrack was so disappointing... especially the battle music. Even while fighting a dragon I never felt any "action" no real "suspense". This song manages to invoke every feeling of fear, courage, fight, flight, and tension that a good fight scene needs, and always plays at just the right time. It's so professionally-made, it only plays like 6 times in the whole game but every time it hits you know shit's about to go down.
The fights that this song applied to would be epic but cannonade is simply too broken for any single enemy to be a challenge. Oh well still a fantastic game

Jin Maven sure AI made them act like real dragons ! In skyrim they were so easy to kill

The Prophet is only weak at the start. The game itself mentions how insanely quick the growth of your might is due to the nature of your station.
