NNY Bees Natural Beekeeping - Winterizing Hives - Top Bar and Langstroth

Winterizing my hives. I had one top bar last winter that overwintered. I now have three hives including a langstroth and two top bar hives.

Like your tbh's. I am keeping one at the moment as well. Are you providing them an upper entrance on the langstroth hives?

No. I'm going to place a small board above the entrance to keep the bottom from being plugged by snow. I also stuck some tiny sticks under the cover to allow some ventilation to be drawn through the hive.
