I've been an xbox player for almost 20 years now, but I gave up. I'm not paying for gamepass, I like to own my stuff. Xbox haven't made a single good exclusive for the last 10 years now. I'm done with it. I've never seen a company so missmanaged and lost in my life, making stupid decisions after stupid decisions.
@@gustavocve1779 Same here. Been a fan since the OG Xbox. After the XBONE debacle, I left and went PC and PS4. And it's hardly a good one too. I hate where gaming is and where it's going.
A business does what's best for the business buying studios is the safer bet, especially when it's a purchase that allows you to get cod. Also can take teams from the Activision merger to make new exciting IPs.

Fans be going for that case of mental gymnastics. PlayStation + 35% price increase for 2 hours demos and streaming older gen games. No one bats an eye. Gamepass ultimate goes up by £2 even though it includes day and date exclusives ,cloud gaming ,ea play . Fans lose their mind
@yomamasohot6411 Even though PlayStation is a higher selling console, I'd bet money PlayStation is gonna die first. For instance, xbox knocked it out of the park with their state of play. Most of PlayStations' new games are remakes (aside from stellar blade and hell diver 2) Why was PlayStation so scared of cod being on gamepass? It's pretty simple the console space is made up of 90% casual gamers, who tend to play games like. Fifa Cod Fortnite Madden Nhl Minecraft Why will people spend 70 bucks on one game when they could spend 14.99 a month and get cod alongside 100s of other games?
Not once have I reached a point where I seriously considered buying an Xbox and it's because of how stupid their decisions can be. Like Sony's not immune to stupid either especially recently but Xbox somehow out perfoms them in that area every time. Ontop of that they never had a defining idenity compared to Sony or Nintendo, if you were to ask a random person what Xbox's best series is chances are they'll either be confused or need a minute to think about it. And the answer will almost always be Halo and nothing else. But if you were to ask that same question for Playstion and Nintendo you'd get a bunch of different answers instantlt. My point is that Xbox does'nt have the first party icons that can draw people in guaranteed, and that's because they spend too much time on what everyone else is doing as opposed to how to build out their core idenity. It's all finally catching up to them and they just refuse to own up to any of it. I want Xbox to still be around but that won't happen if they keep doubling down the path their currently on.
That crucial part “streaming doesn’t work, look at what they did to music and movies”…. If Xbox wins all gamers will lose. Practically steam, Nintendo and ps are carrying gaming as we know, being different enough to don’t let themselves monopolize the market. But with infinite money glitch Xbox can destroy everything

You fans didn't care enough to support the brand so what did you expect? Bragging that gamepass was the best deal in gaming, how that turn out in the long run?
The irony. Xbox started the whole "pay for online with subscriptions" and Sony followed suit. Now, Sony raised prices of subscriptions and Xbox has followed suit. Console gaming has fallen.

I'm not really an xbox guy, I'm primarily playstation, the bulk of my xbox play time even now comes from playing my rgh 360. So I don't play current xbox games, but I don't want Xbox to fail. That would be really bad. When Sony gets too comfortable like they did with the success of the ps2, we get a PS3 with 20gb at $500 and a 60gb at $600. When they get comfortable, they think they can do anything. Thankfully they capitalized on their success with the ps4 into the ps5, but going into the ps6 I hope they don't get drunk on power again.
They're already getting drunk, I think. The PS5 console in and of itself is awesome, but it's a barren wasteland when it comes to next gen first party titles.
Someone better pick up the phone because I f***king called it. I had a felling Microsoft was going to take a massive sh1t on the Xbox brand after a stellar reveal of games and Fanboys called me a pony, Sony fanboy, and other stupid names. Microsoft doesn’t care about players everyone is a dollar sign in their eyes.
I think gaming is going to go back the physical route. If you look at the movie community a lot of people are dropping streaming services and going back to purchasing movies physically
I have over 2000+ physical games spanning over 40 years on many different consoles and handhelds, but these are the last dying gasps of the physical game. If I were to bet, I'd wager the next console generation will be the last console generation to have physical games.
At so obvious that nobody at Xbox is in sync on when the time is right to cash out. Like obviously that's the whole point of their business eventually. Right now they probably don't make a lot of profit because clearly they are dead last and have a small customer base. So they need be the "good guy" and throw out some bones to gamers to lure them back into the ecosystem so they can start milking them later. But its clear to me that they internally haven't a clear leader on who decides what when that has come. Like why would you make a good deal like game pass and invest a lot of money and time in getting great backwards compatibility that gets people excited while at the same time acting desperately to turn Halo infinite into a microtransaction profit generator or try to sell the most expensive SSDs with a huge markup (I'm talking about the expansion cards) and now jacking up the prices of gamepass. Like if you are constantly flip flopping between "doing great stuff" and "doing horrible stuff" people are gonna mostly remember the horrible stuff and the good stuff might as well be worthless.
I believe that Xbox Decline started at 2010 with E3 2010. An E3 they spent 20m on core games and then spend the rest of the time on Kinect and varied apps. This direction Microsoft continued with during 2011 and 2012, which created the meme of Forza,Halo,Gear. Because it seemed like they could only release these games in addition to the Kinect games.

Xbox fell with the Xbone and never got back up. It's always been a back and forth between Xbox and Playstation. One gets cocky and blows it then the other shows up and takes over. Xbox and PS2 pretty neck and neck but PS2 won out. PS3 dropped the ball, Xbox 360 cleaned up for that gen. Then Xbone dropped the ball, and PS4 cleaned up that gen. Now, both are fumbling. PS5 at least still has games, tho
This is the best video covering the current state of the gaming industry other than Self Deficient's video "Modern Gaming". You got everything correct down to the detail. The sad reality is that Xbox is nothing more than a science fair project to Microsoft due to them being one of the richest companies in the world to fund it. We can act like corporations are stupid as much as I want to believe that but in reality they make choices that go against consumers because it is what they want. These corporations would rather collapse bankrupt making choices that benefit them the most than change their ways to benefit the consumer. There's two good examples already from Microsoft. The Windows Phone, and the Zune. Microsoft refused to let these opportunities that would've given consumers a lot of power blossom since they weren't overnight successes. Xbox will go down this path too. I'm not a doomer and want to stay optimistic but Microsoft will delay Xbox's death as long as possible by adapting as rapidly as possible even if it harms human life by massive layoffs. As you mentioned though this is more of a society issue. It boils down to simple corporate greed. The 80's to early 2000's were the days of innovation finding out what works. Companies were on their knees begging people to use their products as they were forced to give a shit about the consumer by taking risks to make original innovative products so they could be the next big thing. Nowadays it's the other way around. Everything is bland, boring, mainstream, and safe. Companies don't want change as they would have to start all over again which means they won't be making as much profit as possible. When Phil Spencer said "Good games won't save Xbox" he was actually saying "We don't want change". It goes against the status quo. Innovation is frozen in time. Companies do not want things to advance or move on. They'd rather everybody use the same services now for the rest of time if they could and will shut down anyone that tries to change that. Even if Xbox was to start making good games the next day they wouldn't be making as much profit as possible. More like not as much as how they want to make it. There are other ways of making a profit besides just raw sales. Data harvesting game pass users and selling it to other companies is an example. Everything is connected. Companies benefit each other. It's how the system is designed. However it's more obvious now than ever. Nothing is built to last. Take a look at Toyota in the automobile industry with their recalls recently. Companies want you to keep coming back as many times as possible so you can keep giving them more money which is why they design awful products. It's also why the only new changes companies make are removing your options especially long term so you keep coming back only to them such as ditching physical media asap. They refuse to abandon the streaming service as it's the best way for corporations to decide how, when, and where you use a product. The sheer convenience is what draws in the largest crowd being the average joe's. Convenience kills quality. It will be the death of many media's one day. Thanks for reading my extremely long two cents. :D

Peter Moore, the man who led the Xbox 360 to greatness, knew exactly what gamers wanted, SEGA hired him at the end of the Dreamcast's official tenure and sales rose until they finally discontinued it, and then Xbox took him on for the Xbox 360. But then, they hired Phil Harrison whose track record included botching the PS3 launch whose entire premise was "Wanna see me do it again?" (He also went on to launch Stadia if that's any indication of Microsoft's infinite wisdom in choices). And suddenly it became all about making money over making good things. It's sad because they'd only been going up until that point, now it's just a corporations money maker. Not saying the PS5 is any better with its total of zero games that can't be played on a PC and PS4, but Xbox was supposed to be the chosen one. Losing Peter Moore was their biggest mistake, he'd have won them the 8th generation for sure and then, we'd have a Xbox with personality, good games, and fun for all instead of just Microsoft's money maker, discount PC.

The games run fine on either console nowadays as long as they're well built. Gamepass is not "bad ass", it's a bad deal. Once you're done with the Xbox Series, nothing will remain on your library and companies outside of Microsoft will take losses that could put them out of business. videos like these are very fascinating. gamers are finally realising that the industry is dead in the water, and are attempting to diagnose why. point the finger at loot boxes, microtransactions, live service, whatever. the problem is you. its always been you. gamers are terrible game critics, and woefully uninformed (ignorant) consumers. gamers, in general, dont know what does into making a game, how much it costs, how the industry works, they couldnt tell you what makes a good game good and a bad game bad (that, or theyre bad at articulating it). things cannot get better if the consumer does not even know what better means.

I feel like there's a way to reconcile having Game Pass as an all-time deal while not anhilating developers. First, I think they have to abolish the day one release strategy 100%. I would stay subscribed even if AAA games came out several months after release because Game Pass is best for games that you would like to play, but wouldn't spring the money on normally.
This explained a lot. Makes me incredibly worried for all the other studios under Xbox's control... Also I found out through this video that Arcane Austin were the people behind Dishonored. That makes me wanna cry, dishonored is one of the best stealth games I've ever played :(
So the Arkane thing is really interesting and confusing for a few people! To make it even simpler for people: Lyon: Dishonored 1, the DLCs, Dishonored 2, DOTO, Deathloop Austin: Dishonored 1, the DLCs, Prey, Mooncrash, Redfall While Dishonored will exist without Austin, they’ve lost Harvey Smith and Ricardo Bare. Smith was co-director on Dishonored and director on Dishonored 2. Bare worked on Dishonored and was the lead on the Daud DLC AND lead designer on Prey! Unbelievably dumb move on Microsoft’s part
I feel Xbox set a terrible precedent that every AAA corpo follows. You no longer own your games in PS5 even used games do nothing since you no longer own it, you just own a license that can expire at any time they want. The PS5 became what the Xbox One wanted to be at launch. An online only nightmare
Why does this lie keep spreading lol The majority of ps4 and ps5 games comes in the disc which doesn’t require internet to install and play, try GoW Ragnarok, Elden Ring, Baldurs Gate 3, The Last of Us they all work right out of the disk But some minority do require online, like CoD, FIFA (sports games I assume all work like this) and even Gran Turismo 7 requires online to play
Care to explain? I still own all my PS5 games that I bought on Bluray. Now, arguable, it's sad how unfinished some games are on those discs, and how some of them are very buggy without the day-1 patch... but the one thing that the disc definitely gives me is ownership.

Omg, I just realized Xbox is the equivalent of Syndrome from The Incredibles. While Sony and Nintendo have a natural aptitude to identify great teams and solid games, there is Xbox with its infinite wallet trying to compete with the supers. Now Xbox is jumping ship to PC, they push closer and closer to having a Sega moment and just becoming a publisher. I hope Xbox recovers with E-Day and Fable and shows the industry they can still foster great games in-house, because without them it lets Sony return to their PS3 arrogance, and no one wants to see that.
@@admiralalyssa Sony has already started to show that arrogance. Apparently, for the upcoming Sonic Generation X Shadow game, they did pay for exclusive content, but it’s what they made exclusive that confused me. @@MemecastGuy There is no point crying about exclusivity when it has been an industry staple since it's inception and used by every player on the field. You may not like it but it gives the platform the edge it needs. It will never change.
Fable looks awful, it's only saving grace is MAYBE the gameplay but since we've seen so little of it I'll hold off on that. E-Day is just a CGI trailer proof of concept and judging by the last two GoW games, I doubt they have the vision to even make it work. If those two games are Xbox's last bastion... it's over. Not that it matters, anyway. Ever since the start of this gen, Xbox has wanted to shift to being the Netflix of gaming with its GamePass. Phil already admitted that they don't care about making games anymore, and it's selling less consoles than its competitors. Studios THEY BOUGHT OUT put out a game and then Xbox closes them down. There is no future for Xbox like this.
@@yomamasohot6411 Exactly. Exclusives sell consoles. Multiple past failed consoles have proved this. If every console offered the same games then what's the point in owning a console than having everything on your PC? Console sales would plummet.
The most screwed up thing of all in my opinion is the fact that when it was all set and done, the Xbox one is an amazing console!!! I like it and the interface and everything really good! I like the interface on my PS4 also, but Sony scrapped some things that they came out with like communities and carried on the torch for those features and made them better.. (or at least made them better by adding the communities feature to Xbox, whereas now you do not have this feature on Sony which it just feels kind of pale without?) But ultimately, the Xbox one is an awesome system, and the controller that came out with the Xbox one S and the Xbox one X is my favorite controller of all time !!! it is so damn comfortable!!! it fits my hands perfectly, and everything on the controller works for every game type really well!! Some of my most favorite and beloved games of all time also have ran better on Xbox one since 2015 when they came out!!! The Witcher3 wild hunt Fallout 4 All of the backwards compatible games that might have also been on PS3 ... Even the Witcher3 is better on series X!! on PS five it has branches of problems and glitches!! Not to mention the fact that it does not control as well because half the time, the game does not recognize when you counter!!!! It's so aggravating- I can counter every single time on the base version of the Witcher three , and compare that to the PS five version, you would think the 60 frames per second of the PS five would equate to being able to counter every single time, but it doesn't.... It just sucks on PlayStation
I don't care about game pass. But the online should be free or have a cheap option that just gives you multiplayer access. Xbox has gone out of their way time and time again to screw over the old guard that made the brand what it is today and honestly, I think it's time to move on to pc.
How much research did you do on this topic... Because there's a lot of missing information in here "What happens when games are on game pass only?" That makes no sense if they are selling the games everywhere, that aside The studio closures have been explained for awhile now It's strange thing where negative Xbox news just get blasted with more coverage than good Xbox news Sort of how you say Xbox doesn't have any good games despite all the great games they did release on their own but I understand that if it's not talked about by the mainstream then a game is automatically not great is generally how the narrative functions. As for the studio closures both arkane and tango lost their key staff and were no longer viable Arkane lost over 70 percent of it's original staff by the end of redfalls development... So they were no longer the same studio that made all the other single player bangers they made in the past Same thing happened with tango I read articles talking about how the EX game director for the evil within 1 and 2 ,ghostwire and Hifi rush was unhappy with tangos shutdown down but only a few of them mention that both him the other guy behind all these games left Tango after hifirush after winning the award and they took alot of the studios talent with them to go start their own independent studio because they didn't want to be under Zenimax anymore So both Arkane and Tango were shells of themselves and Phil tried to point this out by saying in the very clip you added and cut in this video that they were no longer viable. This is not to say the video was bad just that it's missing alot of context on some points and filled with hyperboles otherwise, great video and had blast watching Xbox is mess is someways that's so true ,but long term strategy of thier is good it might let Sony go crazy by not having proper competition in the console space but for Xbox itself its the best move Let's say we go with the stament that they don't have great games ,then I'd wager selling on as many platforms as possible is the best move instead of trying to fight it out in the exclusive console space while being out sold 5 to 1 it might not be the coolest thing to do to raise the white flag but it is necessary for Xbox to survive I guess.
It's crucial for Microsoft to offer flexibility rather than forcing Game Pass on its user base. Providing a variety of purchasing options would likely lead to increased customer satisfaction and broader market reach. Love this video!
I'm convinced they're killing the day one tier over time or at the very least jacking up the price to the point where it doesn't make sense. Standard is what Gamepass should've been to be sustainable. Sony had the right idea with their tiers: offer first party games that aren't selling well anymore on the subscription over time. Sony double dips with their model: they keep their cheap audience on the hook with the subscription while the people who want the games upon release can pay full price as usual.
Say what you will about exclusives being bad for the consumer yada yada, but you need exclusives to sell hardware. Xbox no longer has any and therefore there’s no reason to buy an Xbox.
Great video, the end of the video made so much sense. They fired game developers which means the original developers don't work on the sequels which is why there's no good franchises anymore.
I like the point you made about the ps plus game trials but the problem with it is it’s on the most expensive tear off ps plus which isn’t really worth the money especially in Australia where I live.
I've switch to steam for a majority of my games. Mostly for trying out a new platform, but seeing this slop of a company, I don't know if I wanna play Xbox anymore. Sure, steam is another company by the same shitty practices. But it's better for the moment. I do play live service from time to time, and that's fine, but mostly, I'd like to own what I pay for, not a ever rising in pticr subscription that can be revoked at any time; If I can find it and run it, I use GOG. I want to own my games. The only reason I use steam and Xbox, is cause they have games that are not on gog yet. It better yet, I mostly play Xbox because I love For Honor, but because Ubisoft is a giant shitstain, and refuses to support cross progression, moving to another platform with the game erases all the hours and characters I earnednin the game.
What I find interesting is Microsoft has all the time in the world to re start the shut down studios and they also have said it was a mistake to shut down Tango but yet here we are and they're still shut down... The Xbox 360 was so successful because the games were so good and weren't woke, broken or greedy. The Xbox 360 had soul and was made by passionate devs who genuinely liked the games they were working on example Gears Of War devs adding in things like speed reloading that made the game so much better and loved by literally everyone. Halo 3 was so good people literally brought a console just to play that game. No new games are good enough to go and buy a console just to play them and that's part of why console is dying. Great games create great memories and those great memories creates love for those games, franchises, consoles, Xbox brand and the entire company. The reason Xbox is dying at a very fast rate and why people are playing older or old games is because of Greed, Wokeness, Microtransactions, Subscriptions, Memberships, Loot boxes ect... Gamers hate that garbage fact. We don't want any microtransactions, subscriptions, wokeness ect... it ruins games completely and destroys the entire franchise, console, console brand, all respect for the company and the companies reputation. This is why Microsoft is suffering so much financially. No one literally no one wants wokeness, live service games, digital games, lazy broken games, greed ect... These things are the leading causes of why games sell so terribly and why people are just not buying games but until Microsoft learn this they will just keep destroying themselves and Phil Spencer is not the correct person for the position he is in imo. His not a gamer, he doesn't care and just does what Microsoft tells him to do and it's what we currently have which is well.... dog shit. Game Pass is good in theory but in reality isn't purely because Xbox Live access used to cost $80 yearly and then $90 and now $140 for basic Xbox Live access and that's just terrible and bullshit. Microsoft are forcing players to buy Game Pass Ultimate or they get 0 perks but it's $240 yearly.... also there are no good games period. The modern gaming experience is woke, microtransaction and subscription filled broken buggy live service digital garbage so naturally no one wants an Xbox. Backwards compatibility isn't the correct decision to make and never was even tho it is nice but Sony did it right. Just put the disk in from an old or older console and it just works on the new one at a higher or smoother fps it's why gamers love it.
Ill always have slight hope for a new HALO game, the new Perfect Dark looks amazing imho, and DOOM DA looks awesome also. Fable looks promising.........but until they release the games and theyrte genuinely good games consistently for years, people wont have hope in the brand.
Idk about yall but I don’t really give a shit about this weird corporate stuff, probably because I still play original Xbox and 360 games a lot. But yeah, every company does shady corporate shit, very common. So honestly, just choose the console you like.👍
Sony should absolutely swoop in and pick up tango Gameworks or the people that worked there and on the rights to the evil within and go ahead and make the third game PlayStation exclusive!!! All this bullshit from Xbox ... I don't even care anymore. All I do is play older games anyways... Xbox shutting down tango game works was the dumbest thing they could have because it was one of the few developers that made games that felt like exclusive AAA quality ?!?!?!?!? Both the evil within one and the evil within two were awesome !!! I have both of them on PS4 and on Xbox!
They may suck eggs now, but the _single_ thing that’s carrying them is the BC (backwards compatibility) program. But for how much longer now their goodwill is imploding?
In the early 2000s I wanted the PlayStation 2 over original Xbox. All of the JRPGs were what I was more into at the time, and those were all on PlayStation 2.
I don't care for God of war 2018 to the most recent one either.... In fact, I liked the one in 2018 better than the most recent ?!?!? It's just boring!?!?!? I do not understand what the hype is??? It's major set pieces and then 30 minutes of dialogue and exposition dumps, followed by more major set pieces??? Give me red dead redemption, two or the Witcher three which I think is the superior out of all of them (because it actually has everything that I would want a good action adventure/RPG plus it has a card game built with it. That is a whole different game in itself and it is awesome.!! The only game that I've ever played in a Base Game) but to sum up I don't like God of war either... boring and cheesy... the moment the newest one felt like it was getting awesome when Thor showed up, that cheesy ass gay version of Oden came and ruined it all-
Man, can't we just all play on whatever we want on and not summon these haters who watch a 33 min long video about someones opinion. Xbox and PS are both consoles, pretty much the only difference between them is that PS has more exclusives, which is not that big of a deal.

Why will people spend 70 bucks on one game when they could spend 14.99 a month and get cod alongside 100s of other games?
I think gaming is going to go back the physical route. If you look at the movie community a lot of people are dropping streaming services and going back to purchasing movies physically
no they're not
Nope.
I have over 2000+ physical games spanning over 40 years on many different consoles and handhelds, but these are the last dying gasps of the physical game. If I were to bet, I'd wager the next console generation will be the last console generation to have physical games.
I definetly hope so, it's helping that these companies just keep showing why you don't want a digital only future.
Physical is 99% gone.
Digital is very much more profitable and easier for consumers.
I hate it personally, but I'm not surprised either.

Anyone who actually PLAYED games would know why the Kinetic was a failure and requiring it with the next console was very VERY stupid.

To make it even simpler for people:
Lyon: Dishonored 1, the DLCs, Dishonored 2, DOTO, Deathloop
Austin: Dishonored 1, the DLCs, Prey, Mooncrash, Redfall
While Dishonored will exist without Austin, they’ve lost Harvey Smith and Ricardo Bare.
Smith was co-director on Dishonored and director on Dishonored 2.
Bare worked on Dishonored and was the lead on the Daud DLC AND lead designer on Prey!
Unbelievably dumb move on Microsoft’s part
@@KindofBradAtThis ok so theres still a chance for dishonored to come back, nice. Still, that's awful man, they made awesome games!
I feel Xbox set a terrible precedent that every AAA corpo follows. You no longer own your games in PS5 even used games do nothing since you no longer own it, you just own a license that can expire at any time they want. The PS5 became what the Xbox One wanted to be at launch.
An online only nightmare
Why does this lie keep spreading lol
The majority of ps4 and ps5 games comes in the disc which doesn’t require internet to install and play, try GoW Ragnarok, Elden Ring, Baldurs Gate 3, The Last of Us they all work right out of the disk
But some minority do require online, like CoD, FIFA (sports games I assume all work like this) and even Gran Turismo 7 requires online to play
Care to explain? I still own all my PS5 games that I bought on Bluray. Now, arguable, it's sad how unfinished some games are on those discs, and how some of them are very buggy without the day-1 patch... but the one thing that the disc definitely gives me is ownership.
As a new xbox owner playing halo and gears for the first time is great but damn the closure of a modern classic like hi fi rush is a really bad look
Xbox one and the win 8 is huge mess that they bricked a world record of destroying a successful thinks in a seconds
0:16 so guys we did it
E3 1995 ($299) & E3 2013 was greatest E3's ever. Sony completely obliterated all competition. but that Sony 2013 E3 was the most funniest, craziest, most insane, most loudest of people screaming non stop, most out of this world complete destruction of xbox i ever seen. microsoft & xbox still can't come back from what happened to them on that day. i never seen anyone get roasted bad like that in E3...... we will never see another E3 ever again all because Sony stopped coming to the events & yes we all know that E3 was, might as well say, basically created by Sony in 1995 showing off their PlayStation consoles & their games which is mostly the only real reason why people even came to E3 events literally
25:08 Do it. You are completely right. More people need to know how important actually owning your games are and if companies get to choose where, when, and how you play your games that the gaming industry will crash again.
I just wanna say that I never EVER had any faith in XBox. They’re so “corporate” that they don’t understand what makes gaming GREAT. I saw it when they unveiled the very first XBox. I knew it back then and I’ve been saying it since. I don’t consider XBox a serious contender in the gaming sphere.
Just admit you're biased lil bro. Even if you hate them, you'd only stand to lose as a Sony/Nintendo consumer from watching them go.
Saying they're not a real contender is being moronic
@@osets2117 Saying they're "too corporate" is also so idiotic. Do they also think Nintendo is just a small little company of guys making video games for fun and not of the biggest corporations in Japan, literally so ruthless they crush their own fans under lawsuits and cease and desist orders?
If they said they didn't like Xbox because they're green it would've been a more profound statement than whatever this is.

The only thing worse than the final Xbox 360 marketplace sale is the editing and commentary in this video. Absolutely horrendous.
I will never forgive them for closing Tango Gameworks. It’s that simple.
Same with Sony but for Japan Studio
I think you need help. Business of any sort are not worth being this emotional about

@RealSoulFireStudios sure, you are allowed. But it's weird having emotional connections to studios to the point of not letting go. Furthermore, Zenimax wasn't able to keep them and remain sustainable. Be mad at Microsoft, but it's likely theybwould have been closed even if Microsoft didn't purchase Zenimax
Every time I see a PlayStation game release I die inside
Greed got the best of Microsoft, as a player of both xbox & Sony... Playstation has treated his customers slightly better... thanks for the video, I subscribed
The thing that they made exclusive for their platform only was additional prologue cutscenes, I kid you not.
Sony is also focusing on PC . Whats your point?
(or at least made them better by adding the communities feature to Xbox, whereas now you do not have this feature on Sony which it just feels kind of pale without?)
But ultimately, the Xbox one is an awesome system, and the controller that came out with the Xbox one S and the Xbox one X is my favorite controller of all time !!! it is so damn comfortable!!! it fits my hands perfectly, and everything on the controller works for every game type really well!!
Some of my most favorite and beloved games of all time also have ran better on Xbox one since 2015 when they came out!!!
The Witcher3 wild hunt
Fallout 4
All of the backwards compatible games that might have also been on PS3 ...
Even the Witcher3 is better on series X!! on PS five it has branches of problems and glitches!! Not to mention the fact that it does not control as well because half the time, the game does not recognize when you counter!!!! It's so aggravating-
I can counter every single time on the base version of the Witcher three , and compare that to the PS five version, you would think the 60 frames per second of the PS five would equate to being able to counter every single time, but it doesn't....
It just sucks on PlayStation
The current director of Overwatch 2 is Aaron Keller who was a map designer for overwatch 1
I don't care about game pass. But the online should be free or have a cheap option that just gives you multiplayer access. Xbox has gone out of their way time and time again to screw over the old guard that made the brand what it is today and honestly, I think it's time to move on to pc.
How much research did you do on this topic...
Because there's a lot of missing information in here
"What happens when games are on game pass only?" That makes no sense if they are selling the games everywhere, that aside
The studio closures have been explained for awhile now
It's strange thing where negative Xbox news just get blasted with more coverage than good Xbox news
Sort of how you say Xbox doesn't have any good games despite all the great games they did release on their own but I understand that if it's not talked about by the mainstream then a game is automatically not great is generally how the narrative functions.
As for the studio closures both arkane and tango lost their key staff and were no longer viable
Arkane lost over 70 percent of it's original staff by the end of redfalls development... So they were no longer the same studio that made all the other single player bangers they made in the past
Same thing happened with tango I read articles talking about how the EX game director for the evil within 1 and 2 ,ghostwire and Hifi rush was unhappy with tangos shutdown down but only a few of them mention that both him the other guy behind all these games left Tango after hifirush after winning the award and they took alot of the studios talent with them to go start their own independent studio because they didn't want to be under Zenimax anymore
So both Arkane and Tango were shells of themselves and Phil tried to point this out by saying in the very clip you added and cut in this video that they were no longer viable.
This is not to say the video was bad just that it's missing alot of context on some points and filled with hyperboles otherwise, great video and had blast watching
Xbox is mess is someways that's so true ,but long term strategy of thier is good it might let Sony go crazy by not having proper competition in the console space but for Xbox itself its the best move
Let's say we go with the stament that they don't have great games ,then I'd wager selling on as many platforms as possible is the best move instead of trying to fight it out in the exclusive console space while being out sold 5 to 1 it might not be the coolest thing to do to raise the white flag but it is necessary for Xbox to survive I guess.
Yes. Microsoft sucks. They are trying to keep up with Sony's constant Ls.
Xbot hate for PS is real. lol
It's crucial for Microsoft to offer flexibility rather than forcing Game Pass on its user base. Providing a variety of purchasing options would likely lead to increased customer satisfaction and broader market reach. Love this video!
I still like my xbox and i just want to play games as long as you enjoy games its all good maybe xbox will try and at least fix things i hope
Have an Xbox and PC, enjoying both. Enjoy the consoles you want to play on and don't clown others for playing on their preferred platform!
XBOX AND PC? You wasted your money. You basically have two Xbox consoles.
I do play live service from time to time, and that's fine, but mostly, I'd like to own what I pay for, not a ever rising in pticr subscription that can be revoked at any time;
If I can find it and run it, I use GOG.
As just a regular gamer, I really dont care what studio closes.
Gamepass is still a good value at $20 a month.
Idk about yall but I don’t really give a shit about this weird corporate stuff, probably because I still play original Xbox and 360 games a lot. But yeah, every company does shady corporate shit, very common. So honestly, just choose the console you like.👍
No glazing but that was the best TH-cam video I have ever seen in my entire life
Sony should absolutely swoop in and pick up tango Gameworks or the people that worked there and on the rights to the evil within and go ahead and make the third game PlayStation exclusive!!!
I have both of them on PS4 and on Xbox!
you know xbox in trouble when alot of xboxers are playing older classic titles cos newer gam3s are poo
I'm still salty that the Phantom Dust remake got canceled.
