Labor's ‘obsession’ with renewables is plunging Australia into ‘oblivion’

  • Sky News host Danica De Giorgio says the Albanese government has put in place "reckless policies" to force coal out of the market - in favour of wind and solar energy.
As Eastern Australia goes through a cold snap, the energy market operator AEMO has warned there may not be enough gas in the system to meet demand.
"Labor's obsession with renewables is clearly plunging us into oblivion; we are on a dangerous and reckless path," Ms De Giorgio said.

Renewables not only destroy our forests, animal habitats and farming land they are too expensive. Both the current mean annual surface temperature of Earth and the current atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration are suboptimal. The carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels are actually beneficial. Benefits include greening of the planet with increased agricultural yields (main effect), reduced winter heating costs, fewer deaths from hypothermia and postponement of the next glacial maximum.
