The Angels come from a spin-off book and remain a theory within Cyberpunk Universe lore. They're not officially canon as of yet. This is just a 'what if' scenario I put wrote thanks for viewing
Imagine in Cyberpunk 2 you earn rep like usual and then a a certian point you witness a angel fucking shit up and somehow they almost die and you save them at the last second! they are a little impressed and tell you that if you wanna play in the big leagues you need to get better and leave you with a card with the angelsymbol on it! so you do more jobs and one very big one and they come and invite you! you go to a unseaming building you enter and take a elevator down to a underground-hangar where they test you to be worthy! then you take a AV to their main bade in the mariana trench 10000m below the sea! From there the entire world opens up and you have a mission that is the Angels top priority! Go past the blackwall and fight the Rampant Ais because they have a technology to terraform the earth to a lush world again!
you know it's probably a long shot but I was thinking you could make a one-on-one call with Mr Blue Eyes I feel like you could definitely make that work but it's up to you either way I love these videos keep on making them man my interest is piqued@@Canonical_V
No they're a thing in 2020. Basically they're eurosolos that are the best of the best, they reside on the cyrstal palace. You can learn more about them by looking them up on the cyberpunk wiki. Edit: changed "ball" to palace
No sir I ain't messing with them if they're that badass that not even my Sandevistan could even compete if they're straight bored out super soldiers nah choom I'm out to find the smallest rock to crawl under
@followerofjesustilltheend8315 no one knows anything about them other than the fact that they're based out of the Crystal Palace and they're who you call when you need the impossible done.
Alternate ending: V: And how do you know all this? Jakey: Because I ..... Signal starts getting distorted as Jackie's voice radically changes Jackie: AM NUMBER 8.
Great storytelling and dialogue man, feels kinda like beating around the bush for a few minutes but it worked out in the end. But why would Jakey get his hands dirty and all meddled up in some fixer's 'biz for V's contact? Just to warn him about some hypothetical boogeyman? Still bonkers tho. Keep up the great work choom.
@@mazzvilao ’Preciate it choom! Cookin’ up another script right now… I think all you edgerunners who dug the last one’ll really get a kick outta it too. Looking forward to dropping it!
hmmm... it's a great story, but... 2 problems. 1. if there's such rumors, it can only mean 2 things. either there WAS survivors to tell these tales (rumors) or it's all made up by the first who wanted to spread the rumor. meaning in one case, it's exagerated and in the other case, since it's all made up, it's unimportant. 2. why would this guy call v to begin with. it never really was explained. if this all happened during the end mission, with him warning v about what's waiting for him there, fine, but from the gameplay, it's not the case, or not yet at least. it's the same as if a clodo would start telling me i should be careful to never go inside a nearby abandonned warehouse, which i never intended to get inside anyway. "sir, why are you telling me this? i don't know you and have better things to do then listen to rumors about this random warehouse." like i said, it's a fine story, but it lack context, usefulness to v and also purpose.
Hm, decent points but perhaps you’re being a bit too nit picky there, simply because in this context there’s more you don’t know than know. Like, V is a Merc, and a well known one. This guy could simply be a fan. Or perhaps V performed a past gig that benefitted him in some way, and maybe this guy is giving him this tip-off as a form of personal repayment? So he’s returning a favor maybe Also you seem rather over-invested since you don’t really the full picture yourself. Like if you sat on information about insanely deadly Illuminati-like team of assassins, the best thing you could do is make some one else aware of it. Better V knows of their existence then not at all? Since these mercs are ghosts and main power is taking out targets who have no clue of their existence. I mean I get your critiques, but I think the main point of it is to spread awareness to the viewer about this secretive merc group
@@SaiditFirst2 "I mean I get your critiques, but I think the main point of it is to spread awareness to the viewer about this secretive merc group" if it's true, fine idea, but poorly executed. the way the video is made is a scenario where "v" get awareness about them. the scenario never was about "player". if it's to inform v, it's well made, but to inform players, it's not the best way to do it. a decent one, sure, but far from the best (one reason being the mental gymnastic it takes to understand it's the video's purpose).
@ "If it's true, fine idea, but poorly executed" I mean that's your opinion, I kinda liked where it's going 🤷🏻♂ I noticed people are always look to critique something to feel like they're some expert pro when in reality no one really gives a shit like that. Did i find it entertaining to some level? By the way aren't V and the player the same? Anyway, either you like it or not, and I'd express that and move on with my life... like no need to write a full on report about it, that's a waste of time...unless this guy is actually working for CDPR or something, which I highly doubt. It's all just fanfiction. Y'know what, I suggest making one yourself that's even better if you feel so passionately about it, rather than whipping up extensive critiques. Just keeping it honest
@ "By the way aren't V and the player the same?" not really. my take on this is this. quick exemple. "we" as the players, know who sasquach is, (at least a game that's not the first). v though, no matter how many times we start a new game, won't know who sasquash is until she see her. thus, the player and v ain't the same. we aren't her. we control her. "I noticed people are always look to critique something to feel like they're some expert pro" i kind of am, actualy. i make my own mange since my dormitory days. was 10 years old when i made my first. both the drawing, the scenario and the text was my work. still do it to this day. so, although it's not cyberpunk, i did made of myself. ;-)
After finally watching Edgerunners, I played the game again and it really did a fucking number on me seeing the references and now getting how fucked up Arasaka was. I've played many types of games and shit since I was little, but this one rushed straight to being the GOAT for me. Straight up man. I wonder how they'll updo 2077 if they make a new game
