I have a 2021 Supra and when coded, the car now have bangs in the normal mode also. It’s not as aggressive but it’s subtle. Don’t know if like it sometimes I like no bangs in normal driving
Sirius turned my radio off at the end of 3 mo trial period. They are sending me offers as low as $4.99 per month and I am going to resubscribe. Keep up the great Videos.
I coded the sport plus mode the other day. The throttle is just a little more aggressive. Not so much to be undrivable. The pops are definitely louder when you give it the beans and let off.
I’ve successfully added this option as well thanks to this post. Thank you. Is there a way to regain the traditional sports mode as well? I’d like to have all three modes accessible through the menu.
Has there been an update to where the Dash now says sport plus? I’ve been looking into this. It would be nice if it did considering most of the newer bmws say sport plus
I enjoy your videos on the GR Supra. Please can you help? I have a 2021 Supra. I have been trying to have the radio come on as default. Whenever I get in the car with my IPhone, Apple CarPlay comes on and I then have go and switch back to the radio. I don’t always want CarPlay on, I want to turn it on when I want it. I would April your view. Cheers Aldo
Thanks for watching! While you are in CarPlay be sure the radio is playing then it should stay on radio next time CarPlay connects. Another tip, program 1 of the memory buttons to a radio station for a quick switch if CarPlay starts playing instead.
Sirius is still working for me, too. Haven't been contacted, charged, or anything. Let's keep it secret though so they don't fix it. :P 2020 fully optioned premium purchased last June. 2019 build date it looks like.
@@CarGuy11 lol, that’s what mine is doing right now. But it’s a simple fix. Somehow I skipped a menu. I got the sport plus activated, but nothing on the screen.
My satellite radio went out the MINUTE they promised it would expire, haha. Which sucks, because I hate the throttled audio volume of using Apple CarPlay
The chart at the end shows the coding steps & you can pause video. Also if you need more basic info there are 2 videos in the description showing how to connect to car.
You need to do another video , of you actually going through the coding process . Your entire video is you just talking about modes vs telling else how to activate it on our car . Your little explanation at the end didn't help ...
@@CarGuy11 dude the title of this video is how to get another sport plus mode . So this entire video should have been you explaining in full detail how to do it . Not making us watch two different videos . Don't title your videos something if the content isn't there
Carguy11 has other videos regarding the step by step process of coding using bimmercode. I recommend watching those videos first to get a better understanding and then jump into this video.
@@coreystick2443 I have an understanding how to code . Already have done others that he's talked about before seeing any of his videos . It's just unnecessary to watch three different videos if he just made this one better . It's ok I eventually figured it out by looking at his graph . Bc I'm that smart
@@michaelnasrallah I'm sorry if the explanation wasn’t to your liking but I believe the graph is much easier to follow than screen shots in a video because you can pause the video on the graph & simply read the required menu selections from left to right.
Your channel is like a must have for any A90 and A91 owners man, helped me a lot with many of your vids, appreciate it!
Thanks for the support! I’m glad you enjoy the channel!
Agreed!

Nice! Do you have a 2021 because normal Sport pops more on my 2020.
@@CarGuy11 I have a 2020. Pops and bangs like an AK. I noticed on decel after going full throttle, the pops are especially louder in plus mode
Hmm if I rev out 2nd gear in Sport + & let off it doesn’t pop.
@@CarGuy11 I will have to see if I can get a video of the two
@@CarGuy11exactly same here, just did this yesterday and experienced the same thing
My sirius XMntrial ended. You are lucky man! Thanks again for such a useful video
Haha thanks for watching!
So what does sport plus do? Make the car faster? Handle better? What does it do that factory sport mode doesn’t?
As stated in video it increases throttle response.
How do you get it to stay in sport plus so you don't have to change it everytime you drive? It keeps reverting back to just regular sport.
Thanks man! Enjoy your vids, keep them coming as you learn more about new stuff we can do on the Supra.
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
Has anyone had any adverse affect on the drivetrain activating these modes?
Nice video man, and thanks for explaining the different settings.
No problem & hope you check out more Supra videos on the channel!
Update needed a different obd adapter
Can u get rid of the windshield speed illumination? Very annoying
Yes you can turn off the HUD.

Great & hope you check out more Supra videos on the channel! Only way to keep Sport Mode is to have your individual setup with all Sport settings.
Great video as always 👍🏾 are the pops and bangs a little more aggressive in sport+ ? And I lost my SiriusXM at the end of the 3 month trial🤣
Thanks man! Actually I feel the pops are more aggressive in standard Sport in my 2020. Not sure about 2021s.
@@CarGuy11 same here I have a 2021 3.0 with the sport mode plus and the pops feel more aggressive in standard sport mode than in plus
Can you do sport + coding on a 2023 ? If so do you have a video on? Thank you
I don’t have a 2023 but don’t see why it would be different.
Has there been an update to where the Dash now says sport plus? I’ve been looking into this. It would be nice if it did considering most of the newer bmws say sport plus
Unfortunately no.
Is Sport Plus good for my 2024 GR Supra
( manual transmission )?
On the manual will just increase throttle response so up to you if you like that or not.
Do you have a "Sport Plus" option for damping as well?
No.
Any update on the dual climate research? That is the biggest annoyance at the moment for me! Lol
I agree with you man but unfortunately it doesn’t look good for a climate sync solution.
Noticed a setting called XtrBoost under Sport Plus advanced. Any info on this?
Yes that is for the hybrid model so doesn’t apply to Supra. It gives extra boost to electric motor.
What is a good Dash cam for our cars?
There are newer versions of this dash cam. th-cam.com/video/NStqEQ0NOAs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3NQtNmaJzZn425cK

Haha sounds good!
I am getting ready to turn on Sport Plus and am wondering if you know how to remove the factory speed limiter?
Hmm I think that can only be done with an engine tune.
Tuning shops can do that. You don't have to get an engine tune, you can keep the stock power and just delete the limiter.
However it's importamt to note that the tachometer doesn't go past 263 km/h / 160 mph. You need a GPS app to see the speed after that point.
Flo S_01 my 2021 Supra has a locked ecu so I'd don't think a tuner can remove the speed limiter. Thanks.

Do you know if that works for the Manual?
I believe so.
Can this feature be coded using the OBDLink CX?
It should work but haven’t tried that model.
does sport+ make ur pops sound louder ???
No it doesn’t change volume.
@@CarGuy11 oh okay thanks i have a 2022 & it’s already really loud in sport
Does your Supra need to be one that is tunable to be able to access this upgrade
No just need BimmerCode.
How do you turn on that mode pop up?
It’s a menu setting. Watch this video. th-cam.com/video/IiGxyZU1U-U/w-d-xo.html

Will this void my warrenty?
No this only changes throttle sensitivity.

Wonder what boost-Xpert does??
That’s for the hybrid model. Gives extra electric boost.
