This impressive bishop makes much effort to dish out simultaneous Theological and corporeal clarity to his congregation. He is a very intelligent priest who has long cultivated full openess to knowledge and creative thinking. For every Priest it should be a matter of: 'the Truth or nothing'; because the catholic priesthood is supposed to represent the Ulimate human sacrifice to God.
I can understand, as an electronic engineer, you can't actually create waves or electric current. They are already there, waiting for you to use the understanding of electrical laws and other laws of nature to make things happen otherwise nothing happens for you as you thought it would.
Please you can create waves and you can create current. Electromagnetic waves are created by changing rate of flow of charges (as described by Ampere/Faraday/Maxwell laws/ equations) Electric current is simple created by a difference in electric potential through a medium (as described by Ohm/Ampere laws) What you cannot create/destroy is energy
@Fine-t9j You have spoken well. However the use of the word 'create' in physics does not have the same meaning as in philosophy or theology. In physics we rightly speak of who 'discovered' electromagnetic waves, we don't speak of who created the very first electromagnetic waves because we know we don't actually create them from nothing, we 'generate' these waves from other forms of matter/energy. These electromagnetic waves I'm sure you'll agree with me are actually energy forms (which you also rightly said cannot be created nor destroyed). We don't 'create' them in the philosophical sense of the word 'create', we generate them, we harness them to our utility and advantage. Context and vocabulary are important to avoid misunderstanding the message.
Whoever was the first scientist to discover electromagnetic waves did so because these waves were already in existence and were everywhere until a means of detecting them was developed. That's the message.
Same goes for current. We don't 'create' them strictly speaking, Faraday discovered electric current, then we found ways to harness and generate more of it for our use from other energy forms.
Fr Bishop, you're a phenomenal preacher. God bless you as you continually feed us
You are one of the best Catholic Theologians of our times. You preach what our faith holds as true.
Thank you Father Bishop tor this wonderful teaching. It is what I believe prayer is as well!

We do not listen to our Bishops because we are seeing for sensational preachings. Sabischolar is pride! Pride is the devil, puffing up knowledge.
