The Duttons made the right decision here. Selling the land to the Broken Rock Reservation and Rainwater was the best they could do. It is a win-win Situation. The circle closes here.
Kasey and Beth made a wonderful decision. They sold it back to the reservation. The decision is the right one and the Yellowstone ranch will always be protected .
This was the right ending. And if I’m being 100% honest this would never have happened if John was still alive. He made it perfectly clear that he was never going to give up the ranch and honestly, he was one of the major reasons why the ranch would have been lost. His stubbornness and arrogance into adapting would’ve caused them to lose the ranch to the government or some rich company. At least, in this case, they lose it to people that truly love and respect the land.
In that case, it wasn't a loss. The land Dutton loved will always be protected and glorified. As will his family. It's not a loss, just more people will gain.
I love that they screwed the land development companies out of billions of dollars and preserved the land for future generations by using the very laws used to force Indians onto reservations over one hundred years ago.
@@johnpauljones9310 - They were, just in whatever way they could. It wasnt money, but their fight for it. Kasey and Beth made it so they wouldn't have to fight anymore. 😊
Until they killed off John, I honestly thought HE would be the one to make this deal with Thomas. As long as they couldn't/wouldn't do it that way, I'm glad they did it this way.
Crap ending to a crap show. Had so much potential in the early seasons and then it turned into a country soap opera. Shame. Hopefully Landman does not suffer the same fate.
Nah, this was how the show was always going to end. You could see it coming from season 2 through 1883. Though, in the OG draft, John Dutton probably dies on the trail.

Completely agree. Now onto watching landman

This scene had me in tears!
Perfect ending to a perfect show.

I wish we treated our land as this still today.
In 7 generations my people will come for it. In 7 generations, you can have it back❤
But they didn't come for it, it was given back to them.

This is the right ending. Any sequel spinoffs will ruin it. they should end here and explore other stories.
I agree. Watch landman it’s really good
The ending was some heart warming talking they did 👊👊
This is how it’s supposed to end 1883 predicted it.
Kasey must have been the seventh generation that 1883 talked about
I think the seventh is Tate
It's all Tate's!❤❤❤❤❤ rightfully soo❤❤❤ His Dutton heritage and his Native Tribal heritage ❤❤❤❤
Until they killed off John, I honestly thought HE would be the one to make this deal with Thomas. As long as they couldn't/wouldn't do it that way, I'm glad they did it this way.
John dutton would approve.
friendship has no borders.
Tears!
I would like to see this whole scene. Does anyone know where I can find it?
It’s the last episode of Yellowstone. I don’t know where you watch it.
In seven generations
It was a great show but now it's gone
We actually need to go back to being kind as people
Hunka, 🎉🎉🎉tiospaye ke he wastelo Mitakyue Oasin
Next chapter.. how Nate built his Empire❤❤❤❤
what about RIPs house does he get to keep his house...
He and Beth are off to live in Dillon
@@Zieg_Games thanks 👍
That house was burned
Rip's gifted house was burned down during the attacks. end of season 5, Beth buys a 7000+ acre ranch outside of Dillion for herself, Rip, & Carter.
I think even if he could have, it was the Tribe's , he wouldn't accept it.

Montana doesn't have inheritance tax, this is stupid.
Montana doesn't but the Federal Government does if the estate is large enough. Which the Yellowstone is definitely large enough.
They jumped the shark, and just kept jumping.
