Coolio sung it best "Kooks wasting everyone's life trynna surf a once paradise" Used to be a great spot. Grew up surfing on the points, fuck all crowds. Can't even turn without idiots paddling in front yelling "oi" . Without boiling pot firing this section is pretty ordinary anyway.
New age thing, surfing a point break a few weeks back and this kid was sitting on the inside section getting in the way and wrecking my line every wave, not even paddling. So I lined him up and did a carve inches away from him (his face). Hope he learned something.
Wondered...now I know. That's pretty ugly humans. I had a lot of mind blowing rides there high and fast and then all the terrified faces scrambling. Sorry all these blokes will never get to rip this place like 50 years ago.

Zero sympathy for anyone that got run over out there... Everyone paddling back out was in everyone's way... Holiday-warrior crowd looked horrendous.

First surfed there in the summer of 77/ 78 and whenever it was good, it was still crowded back then.
