I have played a lot of mods for STS, but this one looks the most clean and complete. all the enemies are actually well put together, the character has fun interactions that allow you to become powerful, and the enemies scale fast enough that you can become powerful without just rolling the entire game. Also the events are also quite cool.
I will say that, even as a fan of Hollow Knight,(and recognizing that Hallownest is still a great mod) I much prefer the Ruina and Gensokyo map mods, they have fascinating mechanics and tons of creative situations that have kept me coming back to Spire for hundreds of hours.(if like relentlessly dying constantly while learning how new mechanics work, I also heartily recommend the Lobotomy mod, even as an older mod, it does stuff I've not seen replicated anywhere else)
So this is gonna turn into this weird situation where Frost, if he plays Hollow Knight at some point, will know stuff from the mod first instead of the actual game. Still some POGGERS content anyways!

I love that this mod goes Greenpath->City of Tears->Kingdom's Edge because those are the 3 areas in which Hornet is most prominent (boss fight in 2, cutscene in 1) Also crap like this is why StS is the one and only game I regret buying on console instead of pc
That’s how STS works. They only let you go up one level per run. If you were to go into another run, complete the first fight and abandon you level up again

I’d say the best made is definitely Marisa, with the other very good ones being Koishi, Reimu and The Servant, coming from someone who’s played a lot of these. I hope you give it a try, it would honestly be awesome!
Primal aspids are insanely difficult to fight against in actual hollow knight, but there especially when your build totally counters the aspid its easy.

Probably one of my favorite mod pairs for StS. Bug knight just has so many viable fun builds and isn't too overpowered or weak he sits comfortably in a balance that most mod makers completely ignore.

There is another set of mods similar to the hollow knight mods for slay the spire. The first is Library of Ruina, which has the characters and cards, and the other is Ruina which has the alternate paths. I recommend not using the Binah character for the first couple of runs, and enabling the random card pool. These mods will spoil the library of ruina game. I would have loved the mod more if the act 3 boss would have been the hollow knight and the "heart boss" would have been the radiance. Either way poggers content and poggers mod.
Act 3 boss alternates between Zote, Radiance, and The Hollow Knight. I agree though it should be Radiance as heart boss. Maybe toss in Nightmare King Grimm as a third boss.
