Why don't economists think in that way. There are several lakhs crores of rupees lying in bank unused of private individuals, why not that money turned to productive. This money goes to ladies who have no income to survive, as gents of ordinary families, prefer to keep a good portion of their income on drinking. Is direct cash transfer to the poor and downtrodden who have no income to survive that bad enough?
