No thank you! I did what everyone said not to and picked an Alvaraan Sheevra for my first character. I'm hoping to get into necromancy but I have a long way to go. I am still only lvl 3 Clade in Haven and have been messing around with professions. I currently am grinding weapon and armor crafting just to have the option to make my own starting equipment early on then transition to something else later once I get to the mainland. This game definitely feels like something I've always been looking for though it definitely could improve in many ways I really like what it is even now.
Ya and it still.has alot of updates coming its honestly like half the game right now. Starting/farming armour isnt too expensive and neither is flakstone weapons but its good ur getting a feel for everything and veelans make pretty good mages they r buiot for dex, but they can also have a high int and psy build so u should be alright :)
@Br4vado Yeah that's the idea. High dex/int with spells and a dagger. Still working out the best way to balance early game while I'm trying to build towards getting all the spells and skills I need.
Youre gunna find most of your spells and stuff in lootabkes like barrels in dungeons and POIs, also by killing magic npc casters they drop spell scrolls and reagents
Haha thanks i try to upload as much as i can but IRL 60hr a week job got me lackin lol Stick around and if ur new check out my guild, discord is the best way to get at me
I remember that I used to make heavy weapons for mo1. Sure, they were a bit slow, but their durability was insane (As you said, you rarely get to fully use a weapon XD) but their damage was quite something, you don´t expect a sword to hit you like a truck even trough steel XD
Shield crafting generally doesnt take alot of points and if you are using similar animal/metal materials i believe u can do it. I think sheild crafting is only like 200 points or so

Botany is the parent of dendrology, which is the parent lore for all tree species. Botany is a primary, dendrology is a secondary you should have both at 100
Advanced dendrology is also a primary but yes u should, if your crafting with wood. However wood for weapons is really a low durability thing unless there is a wood i didn't try which is very possible
U do if ur using wood in ur handles or making bows. Ur lore skills must be 100 but ur crafting skills can stay at 70. U get the dmg but not the durability
Thats a matter of doing math. A stack of steel is generally around 300-600gold A standard 2h khurite steel greatblade price goes up and down (player market pending). If you mass produce and flood the market from town to town then essentially you could push the other competition out and control that standard market price. Now you have to figure out how many swords can u make with a stack of steel and at what price are they selling for. I would think that you could but if sword prices plummet or steel prices rise then idk. Another thing you could look at is how much steel is selling for from town to town and how much people are selling swords for from town to town and try to min max your profits if you can safely transport and take the risk. My guild might be able to sell a stack id have to ask. Also you could join my guild haha 😄
It is, its a pretty deep system and some books take days or even weeks to read near "end" game. But once u start doing it and learn a few recipes like the ones in this video its all pretty simple. My guild is still active if you want a small space to learn before venturing off to a larger more experienced guild

These guides are awesome! I'm a new player and these have been perfect to get started on my first character.
