This is so genius and so cringy at the exact same time. Well done.
That was a really accurate impression of Jake Paul
The first notes of Politics of Love coming in at the end is gold.
Absolutely hilarious
I couldn't tell if it was for real while he was in the van and I wanted to dieeeee. I know too many men like this 😂
Damn I also feel like Marlon Brando circa 1999
Forced Witness was legit one my favourite albums of all time
It still is, for me. I always find myself listening to this album once every week; it's utterly surreal.
Witness is up there with Dark Side of the Moon for me. Oxymusic as well.
John Early is the most underrated comedic actor working today hands down. Also Alex Cameron is amazing, that’s my point here lol
John Early plays straight so well IM GAGGING
Straight?
ITS A THIRD OF AN ICE CREAM SANDWICH!
No Roy :(
"I miss my friends from college!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The green screen suits bit was genius.
Alex Cameron is my best discover In years. Future legend.
I never thought about it before, but a cookie really is a third of an ice cream sandwich.
Great song. Love Alex Cameron's music.
This is a song for the ages. I remember hearing this live - Alex's closing track; an unforgettable experience, I never felt so connected to an artist singing along before - Mr. Cameron is an absolute genius.
Saw this earlier when I didn’t know Alex and just thought that it was a fucking hilarious video. Months later I’m soo into his music. Spent the evening looking though his music videos, saw this and remembered how I discovered it earlier. I dunno just happy to be here again but with a different level of appreciation!
genius, genius, genius, and funny as hell, on a piece of fab music. Well done.
This is great, the director had me rolling
HA! brilliant ...I can relate working in the industry with characters like that , picture perfect !!! well done
This is an accurate representation of what Michael Scott would be like as a director.
"So say it back, it's a third of an ice cream sandwich."
Me before I listened to A.C : lol what a dingus.
Me now: HES DOING HIS BEST
I love how the director is basically Jake Paul
I love Alex I just found out very recently about him and I’m alllll in. Fantastic performer
Plain genius
HAHAHAHAHAHA DYING
LOVE THIS
FINALLY
Third of an icecream sandwich 😂
sick
the more i watch dis; the funnier it getss ahh ty Jemima!!
I feel like such an idiot for not getting this for the first few minutes. Hilarious.
this is fucking brilliant, so clever, jemima you nailed ittt fuck yeah
Right before this I saw that they were doing something with The Hills - rebooting? Not sure, but I saw Spencer Pratt on it and it was like -yeah - this is how every interaction Pratt would ever have goes.
Did I get this right, the goal was to act it almost perfect with a slight offbeat towards Monty Python, so my inner spectator has constantly to ask itself, is it actually bad acting, purposely bad acting or just plain genius? Bravo Jemima, bravo. *lonely claps*
Well done. I'm glad I have some semblance of knowledge of Alex Cameron and his work and other efforts because I would have no idea what the fuck is going on
damn now i just wanna see a 3 minute clip of alex dancing and singing
His newer one, Sarah Jo. 😄
I feel like I’m part of a secret club
"You're a HUGE freak, dude!"
Omg wanna talk about a real genius just look in Alex Cameron's way
It's that guy from 30 rock. nice.
Showing a buddy AC and debating just sending him this as a first impression
Hi!!
this shit is genius
"I trust that something good's happening here" lol
Also, John is a scary mirror of every film maker I’ve ever met.
BITING critique of masculinity, and it’s many forms of toxicity.
Kevin Nguyễn actually the majority of what makes the guy excruciating are his classically feminine characteristics. Over emotionality, vanity and conceitedness.
Ban Brady You can think that, but Jemima Kirkwood and Alex set out to critique masculinity, not femininity.
This is, without fail, every aspiring male film maker I’ve ever met. The entitlement, the boasting, the blow ups of anger, the overconfidence. And you said it yourself, you found it excruciating because you think they are feminine traits, but that misses the point.
We let men get away with this behaviour, and not women, so much so that you disowned all of these innate traits in men to be “feminine”.
The Rolling Stone interview talks about this, it’s a great read.
Peace ✌️
@@HarperNguyen 👏👏👏
Holy virtue signalling, damn
Jplichta You could just tell me you don’t like what I’m saying. “Virtue signalling” has lost its meaning because people like you use it in this way.
What, there's an official video?!
The director's personality is a lot like Jake Paul's
Can’t stop thinking how the director looks and sounds kinda like Jake Paul
I was totally think that
“Hornberger!”
hey, anyone wanna play the director ?
I can totally see Gus Johnson playing the director
yeah if you wanted this shit to be unfunny!
omg checking Raya hahaha
Wow, directing is hard
It was great but I wish the focus was more on alcam and the song and not the skit, even if the protagonist of the skit is supposed to be the type of guy in marlon brando.
Elliot at it again
Nick cave and David Bowie had a baby
Wait why isn’t he wearing a seat belt...that’s dangerous bro!
This guy is so annoying but the short film is so well written! Cringe but love it!
I‘m just going out on a limb here but i‘m guessing that this (genius) character is just *loosely* based on a youtube celebrity whose name rhymes with „Rake Maul“. And his brother „Brogan Maul.“
Wow, and to think this photographer started out making employee ID cards for some rinky-dink paper company in Scranton.
Marlon Brando circa 1999 was not a good look.
is that product placement at 7:14? fucking lame.
triput se ljubidu, nema krsta bez tri prsta
This is a kinda clever in joke I guess but honestly is a missed opportunity to capture the unique special energy of the song. This kind of look at how cool we are and how much we get it look at our cool art friends stuffis getting in the way of Alexs genius and his connection w the common people. it's like he's embargoed from his true audience by the rich like Jemima who are terrified that he's going to escape the elites and become a leader against them.
I dont know what I just watched, but No.
