That is an external crack bro .
It's internal break, it's led bulbs inside burst that's why bands are visible when turn on,only led bulb can be replaced but,no technicians are honest everybody wants to make money

Yes companies donot cover physical damage
VU service policy is really bogus, they first take service charges is advance before sending the engineer at customer home. After that company will provide estimate (very high charges). I think that company should faith on their service centers...
I am also having same problem, VU customer care saying 80% cost of the price will be for the cost display board. They are telling inspection charge of Rs.1500/- is to be paid. 55 inch Vu premium android tv purchased at the price Rs.36000/- two years before. I dont know what to do. Local service person is telling that, display board cost 22000/-

I'm using Haier TV 46 inch purchased in 2011. It's still working in excellent condition. Friends don't go for this lower or we say middle category brand, they used Malaysian parts which is very low cost. Always check before buying this brands.

1 tv me jo main cost hota hai wo panel hi hai baki ka electric and box ki cost 2000 se bhi kam hoti hai so panel replacement costly hi rahega.

Why VU Don't provide OTA updates
My 50 inch vu display went faulty after 3.5 years of use. Now the company say they dont have the parts and even if they arrange the display panel it will cost me 80 to 85 % of MRP. Meaning panel price will be 35000 to 38000. Cost of new tv is 34000 of flipkart. These low cost companies want to sell their product and don't want to service them.
But 3.5 years is good for an android tv even an android tv from a company like sony,samsung and lg will start showing issues in 3 to 4 years with high cost repairing price

I bought Mi Tv at ₹50000/- just after warranty it stopped working. Now the service centre asking for another ₹40000/- to get it repaired. So plz don't buy MI and other chinese product

Bro aap jo mobile use kar rahe uska bhi display touch ka cost almost 70 80 % of cost of mobile hota hai. Fridge me compressor cost 60 to 70 % of total fridge cost hota hai washing machine me motor cost 70 to 80% of total cost hota hai. Jo jis product ka main finction hai wo mahgato hoga hi.
The same issue happened to me after 18 months, now they are asking 800 for an engineer visit, after 14 days they are quoting 25k

Same here...purchased model 43SU128 4k android.. in 2018 for 39000/-... within 9 months got horizontal lines..being in warranty they replaced...after 10 months again white horizontal lines...again replaced...within 9 months again same problem...they said we can give new model for 32000/-!!!.i fought till top management saying your model was faulty...they again replaced(may be repaired)...now some 8-9 months and new problem arose...it takes 25 minutes to start..!!!! Have again complained...lets see.?

Mi tv 55 inch 4 yrs, suddenly no display, service centre guy told bonding issue, charged 8000 rs, tv dint run for 3 days, took back and he told will check again, then after 3 days went into his shop to see so many tvs piled up.. This led tv repair is a big scam, tvs life is only until it come no matter what company, he showed me sony lg all branded tvs, all tvs have same fate once it's come to repair, so do what I did, sell the tv for spares to that tv repair guy, it will be useful for him and buy a generic led tv, 32 inch and stick with it, even if it goes bad you will not feel the burn in pocket..
Don't buy VU TV's few are working not fine...the helpline service...realy bad...
