Today I have successfully repaired my Vu 55 inch 4k TV in this way (taping method), though a bit different way - I have used a railway recket of a thin thermal paper (tested this way and finally retained it) instead of tape. It was out of order for few months. Yesterday I opened the TV and to sort out the problem, I watched this video yesterday and today the related video on gate lines short. I am a hobbyist, and not a professional technician. Thanks to this channel (Raj Technical Institute).

My tv flickers on the top of the tv screen, a minor flickering after 1/2 or 1 hour continuously.
What is the solution? How many pins to be blocked. In case if it is in the right side, or left side cable. Which pin number to be blocked. Thanks
