It was great seeing a young Betty White. Alex Webster was my favorite football player as a kid so he was easily recognized. Pro football was not as big a deal in 1958 until the televised 1958 championship game with the Giants playing the Colts. After that TV adopted the sport. Plus back in those days, players did not take off their helmets as they do now all the time on the sidelines. The panel had little to no sports knowledge and would not know a football from baseball. And I can't believe that Hy Gardner was so ignorant as to vote for # 2, as she said Melbourne, Australia, was in the Province of Virginia--which of course doesn't exist! As to # 3, I don't know what language she was using to spell "Czechoslovakia," but it sure wasn't either English or Czech, in which it's "Československo." (The couple got divorced in 1975, and Harold Connolly died in 2010, but Olga Fikitová is still active as a physical fitness teacher at the University of California at Irvine.)

Someone whose only contact with Australia was an appearance in the Olympics two years before might never have known that Australia's political subdivisions are called States rather than Provinces, and could plausibly have misremembered "Victoria" as "Virginia."
Time and time again I get distracted when Bud turns his head in such a way as to show the back of his head as you can see in 23:12 there is something going on at the back of his head I don't know whether it's a beanie, toupee, or just a hairstyle, but something is happening there -- can anybody identify what that thing is?

I've seen Bud in color, his hair just styled in a way that it looks like he's wearing something. In color it looks normal.
