Looked like a cool and cozy hostel. That weather seems to be going from one extreme to the next. You always have your days and goals nicely planned, but you can roll with the punches as well. Way to go. You can tell Leo likes the cooler weather with the skip in his step. He looks back at you like, "You're slowing me down, man.😂 Big ❤ to Leo ✌️🫶
You're not far from where I live in NH, north of Hanover. I know where the trail goes through on Rte 25A. Enjoy watching you two on your trek to Maine. Stay safe out there.
Dude you and Leo are amazing creations. Thanks for taking the time and effort to allow others to enjoy your journey along the way God speed and safety on the remainder of the journey.
That slug on the tree made me laugh. My husband and I did the Presis last summer and it rained nearly every day. Seemed like every tree I grasped on the way down those death boulders had a gross slug on it. Good times…..lol
Drive and Hike Appalachian Trail by Timothy Malcolm in Moon Road Trip Guides $29.99 Have been following AT hike with idea of doing parallel trip mostly by car in Northern Sections. Fun companion to videos! Actual print book- lists routes, side/day hikes, facilities, restaurants, bars etc.
@@caroldavison2970 I have this book. It’s great! I live in NC and am using it to plan some day trips and short hikes with my family and friends, especially my grandkids.
You might have done this already, but I don’t recall seeing it. Just for kicks if you get your camera working again, put it on Leo and let’s see what the trail looks like from us viewpoint. Might not be able to watch it for more than a minute or two, but I bet it’s gonna be fun if you could make it happen.
@@denidillon9540tie the leash to you waist band in the middle . So the dog is centered but you have one hand with a pole. Maybe. I’ve hiked that way before . But I have a multipoo.
Still can't believe that Stick went 1,465 miles on ONE pair of Topo Traverses. Got them at Mountain Crossings, mile 31, and finally got the new pair in Falls River, CT, mile 1496! He really needed them prior to the PA rocks, but couldn't find his size. Still, though, one pair for 1465 miles is crazy.
Thanks for swinging by The Quantum Vortex 🤠👣
You bet

My pleasure!
That was a rude awakening for me from Springer in ‘76. Cube, Smarts, Moosilauke, and Kinsams. Welcome to the Whites
They are amazing

I bet Leo is like you that clean feeling is wonderful after days ya’ll put in. Someone ought to create a video tour of the Appalachian stops by car.
He does

Love watching you & Leo hike! I’m taking notes on everything & would love to know the address of the Hikers Hostel. Safe travels!
It's right off the trail
According to the AT Guide it is 1396 NH Rt 25, Glencliff, NH 03238.
Leo is a wonderful companion! Sorry for the stupid question but do you have to filter his water too?
No
Almost 6K subs!!! Great job 👏
Yes! Thank you!
You might want to re-consider hiking polls in the Whites. At least one pole.
It’s hard to hold a leash and a pole at the same time.

I'm good
Good luck drying out the camera. Safe travels!
It's working again
We had a tornado warning here this day (i think it was this day) scary!!! We are not used to tornados in NH.
It can be scary
We have one or two per year, but usually not much damage. I do recall a woman getting killed one year out by Winnipesaukee.
Your phone video is great.
Thanks
🚶🐕🦺👟👟⛺☀️ that's a cool little hostile I know you and Leo are feeling better enjoy and stay safe and happy hiking 💯💪🏆
Thanks
Will your dog be able to climb Katadin?
Yes
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks
I know the gopros are water proof
I don't like the video and how difficult they are to edit

Topo traverse I have to look up the miles on them
