We're excited to bring you an up-close and personal review of the Nike SB Dunk Low "Escargot." This unique sneaker continues Nike SB’s Olympic narrative, inspired by one of Paris, France's finest exports-Escargot. The design features earthy tones of tan, green, and brown, with subtle textures that evoke the feel of a snail's shell or the wood they dwell on. The dark brown, lightly speckled outsole and midsole add to the shoe's understated details, while the chrome Swoosh contrasts sharply, representing the utensils associated with the dish. The insole print, complete with a fork, knife, and plate, rounds out the inspiration.

I just added these to my collection. I love the colors and how they blend it together. I am waiting for the new toxic avenger movie to come out. Old heads know what you are talking about 😂
In my opinion, the best one to come out recently is the phantom malachite and hyper royal sb dunk. I'm loving that the hype on sb dunks has come down. Not only can you snag most releases, but sometimes you can get them on secondary for under retail!! What a great time to be a sneakerhead.
These “Escargot” dunks are actually on StockX for below retail. But after shipping and fees you always end up paying so much more. I grabbed mine from CCS and since I have ccs+ I got them for retail and didn’t have to pay anything for shipping.

This is a dope pair IMO. Definitely evokes the gold or blue box era of dunks for me. I can't wait to get mine in next week. White or even a lime green lacesawap would slap on these ASAP! You reviews are always the one that help us make the tuff choices with our money these days! Keep em coming!
Definitely reminds me of the blue box era. The silver leather swoosh reminds me of the “Fender Bass” mid sb’s which are from that era.
These are going to be gas with some white or sail/tan laces!! OG laces are still very nice even with the silver lace tip touch
I was actually thinking about putting the sail laces from the Phantom Malachite in these. 🤔
This colorway will sit big time. Should wait until they go under retail

I knew it was a banger when we got pictures. Was hesitant when I got to the skate shop but that forest green suede liner and metallic swoosh sold me. It was always a Shrek dunk for me. I love the Shrek movies. The Shrek crocs were underrated and so are these dunks. Lace swap for sure though for the grown up look but other than that, 9 out of 10. This is a slept on colorway. You gotta know how to pull it off too.

I’ve seen people put white laces and a like green and made the shoe look way better.
i got these in earlier this week and i got to say they def exceeded my expectations cause i thought they would be alright, but the materials are very cool. The snail shell material is super soft, and the toe box material is def not what I expected but kind of dope. They shouldn't crease that bad. Socker liner is buttery and insoles are cool. I only wish they came with secondary white lace with metal tips. That would have been perfect.
kind of thinking that the green material is going to crease quickly to be honest - yeah, in hand they are nice, the brown leather feels good for sure
@@SouthsideSkatepark1994 yea I'm sure it will crease but should just be a clean line not a bunch of crinkles or ripples or all lumpy like leather toe box.

Imma add my .2¢ even tho I ain’t got no cents (lol). But the green laces from the “Burnt sunrise sbs” actually look fairly good in the safari olympic sbs. The green pairs well with the sock liner imo. OR, the “rust” colored laces from the guava ice/trocadero garden sbs. Color match is almost exactly the same as sock liner!! 👌🏽

glad i copped been taking ls on snkrs on sbs but i found a pair at the orlando nike outlet. other than my unicorn gundam and my plum acg sbs these are my new favs
I would change the laces to Red, Blue, Purple and Orange and call then the TMNT Dunks

How do they fit
First time I ever saw official images of this pair, I couldn't get Shrek out of my mind. They're cool but personally, I wouldn't wanna wear some Shrek SBs 😂

Wack Concept, Water Closet? 😂 probably will never find out. People still don’t truly know what Pro stands for… Some say Progressive some say Professional
“Won’t Cop” “Worst Colorway” “We’re Confused”…? Could possibly mean they are so fugly that even “WIC” will cover the cost of them for you.. they just took the “I” out.. ☠️

I just bought the shrek shirt thse are a must have. Ive been so broke so ive been out of the loop but man i love these !
I mess with most green and orange colour combinations but this colour way is definitely not one of my favourites but that could be partly due to the lack lustre story telling on this one and that it's based off of snails which I just find to be not too exciting lol overall they are decent I would go 6.5/10

I’m always super appreciative of every single shoe review you do!! These however seem to have just randomly popped up outta nowhere… Kinda just seems like they threw a random dunk together and labeled it as an Sb just for hype and sale boosting. I personally think imma sit this raffle out and hopefully someone can scoop that 11.5M I’d be chasing. These just seem very rushed and the quality doesn’t appear to be very good compared to other Sb dunks.. imma wait till the cinema sbs drop later this year. Those are 🔥!!!
Also… I think imma have to rate these at a 4 tho Jeff.. These just ain’t it for me! 🤷🏽♂️

I totally hear you - but the Esgargot has been on the menu for some time - 4 could be accurate - if your a City of Cinema guy then yeah, your preferred pallet is completely different. I am sure there are other people out there that are down for this colorway - #1 shop in the USA, big shoes to fill, that would be great, I certainly appreciate it, but every shop is special in it's own way - everyone that does this is #1! #bigo

I think they are more of a 7.5/10 mb bump them up to 8 after I put ‘em on foot with a nice fit. Got ‘em last week didn’t look at them up close yet so I noticed more details in ur vid than I did when I glanced at my pair like the chrome aglets the silverware design on the heel tab and the wood grain on the overlays I think that might be to give it the shell look

I’m starting to get really disappointed by that exact thing these days. It seems like EVERY newly released pair of sbs don’t have the FAT TONGUE!!! That’s why I love sbs.. Mostly all of the new sbs have like SE dunk tongues… Such a bummer. It’s starting to make me a lot more picky!!
