the DLC are out here! me and king of skill decided to play off in a fighters pass battle, with him playing as fighters pass 2 and me as fighters pass 1. I think i for sure got the bigger pick, im a huge fan of the first pass! Joker due to being the persona 5 rep, Piranha plant isn't fighters pass 1 technically but plant gang regardless, Terry is a masher and a half but still fun, Byleth is cool with the sword stuff going on, and then finally my boy Hero who is the RNG god himself! Banjo and Kazooie are the only ones who are... less than average in fun
fighters pass 2 in my opinion is less fun but more iconic. steve minecraft is the perfect example- super crazy that we have him in smash bros at all but i could not be more confused playing him. min min lowkey can be fun to play sometimes if i want to turn my brain off, but playing against her?? forget about it. Sephiroth is pretty cool ngl, both playing wise and character wise. Pyra and mythra are really fun imo due to being swordies, but i know a lot of people aren't a fan of playing against em lol (esp mythra). kazuya CHEATS and does way too much damage!! as someone who doesn't know how to do inputs he isn't as fun for me tbh- but clearly brent made him work here lol. and then finally sora, the newest smash bros ultimate dlc. he's a bit too floaty for my taste, not enough oomph to him either. feels very slow paced when i play him at least so im not really a big fan tbh
but overall the fighters pass and the smash bros dlc have been a blessing- 12 additional characters!! sakurai and his team have truly gone above and beyond with this, so take this vid as a final farewell to the smash dlc :)

My personal favourite is sethiroth due to just making you feel like the final boss of Smash but hero is so damn fun
Yes hero is really fun but for me the best of the DLC characters is kazuya because once you have managed to understand all the best inputs to use to make absurd combos it really pays off all the time spent in training mode. Undoubtedly he is the most difficult character in the game but at the same time the one that is scariest and this makes him fantastic for me.

Hero was my most wanted character, so knowing that Brent wanted Hero, and that he’s on if TCNick’s mains is amazing.
Also seeing Brent finally playing Kazuya and other DLC characters again is amazing.
Hero main here. Never played Hero's games, I am considering getting Dragon Quest 11 Definitive Edition for Christmas though, and when I learned he was an RNG character with one of the most unique down specials I'd ever seen, I instantly said "Yep, I think I found my favourite". Plus, he technically has no meta to play by since he's random. He is the definition of fun and never gets boring. With most other characters, they get boring to me after a while since it's the same thing over and over again. But, with Hero, you never know what's gonna happen.

the end is just one of the most funniest endings, he dies, says the footage corrupted and he said he made the biggest comeback. and to top it of he made it like the footage crashed with one line being repeated, just amazing

As a Hero main, I see Hero as the most fun character. Mainly because, there is technically no meta for him. Since you can't predict what will happen. A certain someone commented on a video once and said "Playing Hero isn't about winning, its about sending a message".

I mean, I was super hyped when Hero got in. I have been playing Dragon Quest since I was a kid. DQ 4 was one of my favorites (The Green haired Hero) SO I was really happy! I was a little sad my favorite DQ Character Terry didn't get in, but the skin of hero that you use, with the white hair and blue bandana, is based off of him! So I'm happy with that.
Hero is my personal favorite DLC and the most fun. So fun he's one of my best characters

I discovered Persona 5 through Joker being in Smash as well and honestly, absolutely amazing game. So glad that Joker was added to bring that game to my attention. That said, you and Brent make such a hilarious combination.

have to agree with byleth because byleth vs heavies/characters with big hitboxes is very funny
up-b offstage is funny every time and it's borderline guaranteed on a heavy bc they're so b i g lmao

i also find byleth dair funny because strongest air move in terms of raw power is pretty funny. what other dair can kill with the spike hitbox, ON STAGE, at like 90-100%

I love the fact the move kills at like 60 no matter how and where you hit the opponent
@@Nokyyyyy it's not true, it's just an easy way to get your opponent off stage enough so you can spike them lol. a throw would do just about the same as ftilt, the main goal is to get them off of solid land.
and yeah, byleth is strong as hell. the absolute shining pinnacle of a mid-tier character. They're consistent, and do their job amazingly. Biggest issue is that they're slow
