Season 2 of Outlander begins as Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie arrive in France, hell-bent on infiltrating the Jacobite rebellion and stopping the battle of Culloden. Thrown into the lavish world of French society, where intrigue and parties are abundant, Jamie and Claire struggle to advance their political agenda. Excellent interview. 👍. I know I am (very) late to the party, but I have just been able to watch Outlander now during the pandemic. I am as hooked as anyone who started watching the series at its beginning . The benefit and blessing for this timing, is that I can now binge watch all the episodes. I don't know how people waited between episodes! I consider myself very lucky. What an outstanding, mesmerizing show. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Very good interview. I love Cariona I talking...very intelligent and humorous. And of course a brilliant actress. I really want her to win a SAG award.and be recognized for her amazing talent and her beauty.
I could listen to her talk all day long. For those who don't know she voted yes for marriage equality in Ireland which made me love her even more.

This is probably the best interview with Caitriona that I have heard ( and I have listened to many). The questions were genuine and different from so many others. I found myself saying more than once, "That's a good question." The interview seemed to have a sense of what she was really trying to say that she hasn't been able to say before. I learned more about Caitriona as an actress and the difficult work she has accomplished. Bravo to all involved.

Yes, this interviewer is amazing. He genuinely admires the actress but doesn't fawn all over her. His questions are intelligent and thoughtful. So many of these recent interviews are silly and ridiculous.

She's an incredible woman. In a recent interview of Barbra Streisand she said she loves the show too, and so I watch it and now I'm so obsessed with this show. I'm 29.
As a woman I so appreciated this interview and that Catriona was taken for as seriously of an actress as she is. So many women are asked nothing but superficial, condescending, and/or objectifying questions and she was simply respected for her craft and able to show how amazing she is. Thank you so much for a great interview and setting the bar for what a typical interview should be!
I only know Caitriona Balfe through interviews like this one and her performances on screen, but I find her to be a very genuine, unassuming individual. She obviously has been blessed with physical beauty, but what I believe makes her stand out is the inner beauty, the "realness". Kudos to Caitriona's parents for raising her into a fine woman.
Caitriona is inspiring, her openness & gut honesty puts things in perspective, taking the unattainable & making it real & down to earth! But she’s a humble beautiful talented hard working woman... I admire her greatly!👌💫
Watching this interview yet again. It’s still one of Cait’s best. So now, she, Sam and the current cast are filming Season 6 and Season 7 has been picked up by STARZ. I would love to hear a present day interview by the same host to hear how present day Cait feels in 2021 and how Claire’s story and (Cait’s life) have changed thanks to Outlander.

Never understood the 'girl crush' thing but I think I might have a little bit of a girl crush on Cait. She's just so damn cool. She's incredibly intelligent and well spoken, she supports several charities, she is an amazing actress and just seems like she would be fun to have a drink with. Don't get me started on my crush on Sam!! ; )

She is very Intelligent as well as very articulate. I was very impressed with how she’s able to expound a topic to make the viewer understand and know who Claire is, where is her drive and passion came from. The host is as smart as she is. His questions are relevant, and with so much depth, that it gives Caitriona more space to make her story more vivid and allow the viewers to visualize what she’s trying to convey to the audience. I really enjoyed watching this interview.
