Like ONE person a couple of miles away hearing the shots near midnight - but nobody in the much closer housing estate did. Fuel receipts that prove nothing. A chance encounter, many years after the event, with a "witness" who saw them in the range rover just before midnight. That's what I think, based on what I have read / watched. Probably all wrong!
