Wish granted, let me introduce you to Spider-Man 2 (PS5). Although it's missing free roam.
I know this sounds impossible nowadays but i really wish they would remaster this game.
Someone did it on pc
Just a rerelease would work perfect honestly. The artstyle means it never ages graphically.
Just remake. A remake is always easier since the rough draft is already done for you, story, music, etc. Make it visually good today and create the game mechanics
They don’t even need to remaster it, just release a modern day port with increased resolution and fps.

This game was my childhood, when your Peter fighting venom on the football pitch
As a kid, I used to wear my hoodie and bounce on the trampoline and pretend I was Peter Parker fighting Venom in the football field lol
I hope the next Spider-Man game will let us actually play as Venom for certain levels. Hopefully, he'll even get his own free roaming mode
EDIT: OK, so he didn't exactly get a free roam mode, but we can actually play as Venom in Spider-Man 2, epic stuff

fun fact, alex mercer from [PROTOTYPE] (2009) has near identical animations to venom, right down to the tendril fist attack, running climbs, gliding, and uh... just about everything!
I remember reading somewhere prototype was originally supposed to be a venom or carnage game. This would make sense to explain the same animations.
this is the greatest spider man game because venom is better and the only game you can play venom in free roam is this

I always wondered why I always painted my Venom drawings with a purple lighting outline, I guess this version had a bigger influence in me than I thought.
Insomniac should’ve definitely referenced this when they were making Spider-Man 2. The leaping Venom is able to do at 0:09 is insane.
Damn i remember the first time i played this game i literally played all day and got halfway through the story and when i was done i forgot to save the game so i had to start over again, good old memories🤣

How stupid people are, blaming video games for the violence that hides our being, it makes me remember that time when they blamed the shooting game against infernal beings called "Doom" they believed that one of the boys named Eric Harris committed a massacre for playing that together with his friend Dylan Klebold... This Spider-Man game is beautiful, it's not to blame for anything 🕷🕸 but the character of Venom can be used to de-stress too. Apart from having fun.

Insomniac couldn't make a Venom free roam mode either because it would've been too violent or because they simply didn't have enough time due to all the resources spent on making two different Spider-Man playable

I think they could of but games don't come out giving you everything you want anymore. They give some then dlc or make you wait for sequel.

If you had the black suit while Playing as Peter imagine if venom was Peter after switching from Peter to Eddie then it would look like Pete In monster mode

Did the Venom Glitch 1 time haven't switched back to Miles or Peter all because of this game right here they hardly let us free roam or even play as venom unless its a fighting game i miss ultimate spiderman so much 😂😂💕

No way you can actually play as venom i always wanted to do that that is actually badass
I would literally not load the next part of the game just so I could play as Venom longer lol
You don't have to worry, once the game is completed you gain access in the menu to switch to Venom whenever you want

Races with the human torch, fighting Wolverine as venom and free roam the comic cell shading list goes on. This Story is still the best.

I really like the game but if there is something I would like to take away from it, it is that before following the story you have to do secondary missions, it is horrible and I would also add more suits for Venom

Eddie we are in a video game how cool is that oh shit this is not new at all. This was from 2005 and it’s only on PC and PlayStation two well I’m not a PC guy and I have two PlayStation consul at the so I will buy a PlayStation two and download this game I mean not download I will have to buya disk for it. I can’t wait to go on a rampage like GTA and I like the comic book style.
