they usually mentioned things that are important ex. Colton tell young Elliot he had a Guy from town help with the Electricity in the barn, and the Guy helping was Elliot
Yeah I caught that when I watched the season 2 finale and in the first episode of season 2, it was obvious Colton knew someone was there when the branch snapped and young Elliot said did you hear that.
I think Casey Goodwin' either came from the pond and was adopted by a Goodwin, or at least Casey's "father" is actually Cassey's Guru and just let Casey use his last name. I do believe Casey is Alice's kid.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! There’s so many ways the show could go! I’m also not sure if the whole thing Casey said about her dad handling the estate was a lie and he’s not involved. Yeah, I think she’s Alice’s kid and she has dark hair too.
I think Pond works more for Kat like in first episode when she found Alice. Maybe she was praying for Best friend.
And Colton's that grandma is Kat
I think they’re going to do some twists in season 3! I felt like season 2 focused more on Kat’s time traveling than Alice. I’m going to rewatch both seasons to see if I can find any clues lol. Thanks for sharing your theories!

I found a lot of answers in a piece I found online in VARIETY, dated march 31st! "The Way Home Creators Break Down That Mind Bending season".... Jacob DID come home and it also said that Colton is a huge part of the storyline with twists. It said now that we know Colton is a time traveler to go back and rewatch from a different view... I hope you all can go and find this article !!! Lots of info in there.......not much about Casey but I think she is Alice's daughter and knows she knows her future involves the Landry farm staying with Dell and the family.....maybe she knows Jacobis coming home and he needs the farm to still be his home???/ Check out the article ! I wont give you all the spoilers !
I did see the Variety article pop up but I didn’t read it. I will have to! I’m definitely going to rewatch the season! I rewatched the season 2 finale. They’re going to stay hush hush about Casey lol. I think she’s Alice’s daughter too. She’s at least related to her somehow. I can’t wait to see Jacob and Dell reunite!

Since Victor has been less than a father to Elliot, I have a theory that Elliot is a Woodwinn, and Casey is Kat and Elliot daughter, also because, why Susanna painting of Kat, end up in Lingermore, Vaughan, has posted a picture of her in between Kat and Elliot, very suggestive way.
That’s what I’ve been wondering the whole season is why and how did Kat’s portrait wind up at the Goodwin estate. Thanks for sharing your theory! The great thing with this show is anything can happen!

Now that Jacob is home..and if the pond's purpose was to heal the Landry's past..due to the loss of Jacob. The pond better let Kat go back to see Thomas! 🤨😆
I knew there was no way they were gonna kill him! She has to go back to see him and we never saw her pose for her portrait unless Susanna has a photographic memory 😂
I’m very intrigued by the Casey situation. I honestly don’t think Noah is the dad (visually that doesn’t look like Alice/Noah’s kid to me either) and I actually don’t think he’ll be around next season. It seems as though they were writing him out like Byron and Spencer were. I feel like his character flopped a bit and the writers noticed and just cut their losses. Casey also never seemed interested in Noah. Only Alice and Kat.
We will see. Casey was definitely interested in Alice, Kat, and Dell. When Casey said that bit of dialogue to Alice about how Alice knew what it was like being new in town and not knowing anyone sounded like Alice had told her that. How else would she know that. They have a lot to answer in season 3! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊
I figured Colton could time travel, since both his kids and granddaughter can.
Another theory on Casey Goodwin. Main based on something they said to Kat. They said something like “is this really where I’m from. So my other theory is Casey could be Alice’s granddaughter in present day. As in the future Alice has a daughter gives her the ring, Alice’s daughter falls into the pond meets Evelyn Goodwin’s son has Casey and then she passes the ring to Casey.
I’ve thought before that Casey could even be Alice’s granddaughter. Thanks for sharing your theory!

Colton does. Del thinks it a sink hole. Colton has obviously tried to warn his kids away from the pond.
@@julieletford5695 Right I remember Colton saying for Jacob to stay away from the pond because he knew it was time travel. I’m contused that Colton didn’t think that Jacob fell into the pond when he went missing, unless Colton tried to time travel when Jacob went missing and the pond wouldn’t let him go back.
They could say he was kidnapped but escaped

One more thing ...WHy does Elliot have drawings of the tunnels? How would he know about those tunnels?? Know them well enough to have drawings?? Did I miss something???
I wonder if Susanna wrote about the tunnels or Victor somehow knew about them. They have a lot to answer in season 3! I can’t wait for the next season!
Late last night I started down this rabbit hole again !lol ! It sticks in my mind that Elliot was willing to erase Alice to have what he wanted with Kat...(London). what if the fact that things keep changing when they go time traveling, the more they go the less Alice is a reality? And Casey is Elliot and Kats daughter in the end..... There were so many times Elliot wanted to tell Kat how he felt but Alice was there, and he didn't... What if something happens to make it so Alice never traveled? Will Alice end up being erased in their minds and the alternative will be Casey? The ring is the same ring so either Alice is Casey's mother and gave it to her or Casey replaces Alice??? But then who is Casey's father and why haven't we seen him?? Or is she traveling alone and has taken over the mansion and SHE realized she had to leave it with the Landry's for some reason?? Did she want to purchase the Landry's farm to have control of the pond (portal)?
I’m going to rewatch season 2 again and I’m gonna rewatch the first season. I’m also not sure if Alice would really be erased. In the scene with Alice and young Elliot, he said you’re not gonna disappear. Also we don’t know what would’ve actually happened if the time travel wouldn’t have changed things. If Jacob hadn’t disappeared and Colton hadn’t died, their family wouldn’t have fallen apart and Katherine probably wouldn’t have stayed with Brady. They also brought up the notion that things can be changed because Alice said things are already changing. I definitely believe that time travel affects their memories because nobody recognized Alice and Dell couldn’t remember her and Nick even brought that up when he said how come no one can remember that she looked exactly the same. Nick was the only one that remembered because in the first season he said something like it’s weird she looks just like my Alice. Thanks for sharing your theories! @@hktalks5341 Thats right ! Dell saw Alice as Kats friend when they were young ! I forgot about that !! I wonder if Jacob will remember Alice as Kats old friend when he meets her as well !? I can't wait until the end to see which of these theories , or if ANY of our theories is right !! I want to know who Casey's father is....I still have a feeling Thomas isn't who he claims he is....and wondering who any new character will be !
@@jadeheart911 Yeah, Dell didn’t remember her being Katherine’s friend at all. When Kat brings up Alice and says do you remember Alice and Dell says you were always bringing around friends. That was weird. Someone would remember their daughter’s friend lol. Yeah, I want to know whose Casey’s dad is too. There’s so many routes the way the show could go that’s why it’s so fun to theorize! Me too! I wanna know if I’m right or not 😂
Well, Older Nick figured out it was Alice because he heard her sing..
@@sandyforest5593 Yeah, it was when he heard her sing with Nick and I’m pretty sure it was the same song Alice and Nick sang together in the 90s.
I do think Casey is her daughter or at least a family member, but I don't think Noah is the baby daddy :) I can't wait to see what happens with Dell and Jacob!

There's no way Noah is the father. Genetics, also Casey doesn't care much for him.
But I am definitely still shipping Alice and Nick. I mean, who is Nick's father??? Is Nick a Goodwin? Casey resembles Nick and Alice. Nick says he felt like he saw her everywhere.
Do Goodwins know about the pond? Why was Cyrus alone at the pond when Kat got shot.
I wish there was a scene with Casey and Nick to see how she reacts to Nick.
Does anyone think Nick might want to try to time travel?
I love Nick and all the scenes of Nick and Alice together! Now that the writers revealed that someone can time travel with a Landry, it’s definitely possible young Nick could time travel with Alice and maybe they could be together that way. We will have to wait and see for season 3!
So regarding the Rock at the entrance to the trail to the pond of episode 1 of season 1 the initial l is for Elliott the T is for Thomas and the JK is for Jacob and Kat. Also in the Founders Day episode it's so obvious that Thomas had time traveled to that event and when Kat went back to 1814 a few moments later he was there waiting for her
I plan on rewatching both seasons. I rewatched the first episode of season 2 and caught some new things I didn’t catch before. Thank you for pointing out that detail! I will look for that when I rewatch the first season!
They did show Kat looking a Thomas at the Founders Day scene. But I thought that it was just Kat imagining?
@@sandyforest5593 I thought Kat was imagining too like Alice did when she saw her mother as a teen with teen Nick and Elliot. I did feel like that scene was foreshadowing something with Thomas.
It was Colton with the old lady "Grandma"!!!
I know! My mind was blown! It looked like the late 1800s. I think the grave said Susanna died in the late 1850s so I feel like Susanna would’ve met Colton and she knew the pond could time travel. They gotta lot to answer!
Maybe Colton is Kat and Thomas’ child(?)

Did anyone else besides me notice how they stopped in episode 1 of season 1 at the big rock on the way to the pond there are three initials on that rock an l a t and JK look close and discover the mystery

That was one theory I had as well regarding Colton. I was under that impression when I watched the season 2 finale. We’ll just have to wait and see!
Maybe Cassies saves Colton and he can't get back to his time era

Didn’t Elijah and Rebekah lose a son? And then the pond brought them Jacob as if to answer their prayer.
What if Alice goes back to the past again and she and young nick end up doing the deed and when she comes back to the future she realizes she is pregnant.
Since someone can time travel with a Landry, I think there’s a possibility that Alice and young Nick may travel back even further in the past to be together. I just finished rewatching both seasons. I’m gonna come out with a video soon! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
