Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on TH-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on TH-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on TH-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

You have to play this one LOUD
F YEA!!!
Between big speakers and a huge TV or outside view!
I was a club dj when this dropped, this song damn near got me fired, I blew out the speakers TWICE. Club owner made me mark the mix board pot so I couldn't blow out another one.
Depeche Mode "Policy Of Truth" 🔥
Trent Reznor admired Alan Wilder❤
Industrial!!! Studio versions always my fav because of the so many sounds and voice parts to hear.
My favorite Depeche Mode song is ‘Never Let Me Down Again’ from Music for the Masses!
This album is amazing. I have listened to it over and over and it hasn’t gotten old.
Violator is a very, very good album that you should listen from start to finish for best value. Great reaction btw
Try "Strange Love" " Never let me Down Again " "I Feel You" too many to list.❤
Love this song! Great reaction😊♥You do need to hear the rest of 'Violator' (and The Cure's album 'Disintegration'...1989 & '90 were great years for music!) Yep, Depeche Mode did influence Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor has said Depeche Mode was one of their favorite bands, and that he was inspired to start writing NIN's debut album after he saw a Depeche Mode concert in 1986.
The influence is definitely there 😁
Two great albums
The Cure - Disintegration '89
Depeche Mode - Violator '90
The first for me the best album in the world...
Other great albums from the late '80s
New Order - Technique '89
U2 - The Joshua Tree '87
Peter Murphy - Love Hysteria '88
Love and Rockets - Love and Rockets '89
Two somewhat forgotten groups, although I have seen some lost reaction:
Transvision Vamp - Velveteen '89
The Wateboys - Fisherman's Blues '88
Two other more forgotten groups that I haven't seen any reaction on TH-cam...
The Essence - A Monument Of Trust '87 (with its great song "A mirage" the Extended version is great and it also has a Spanish version "Un Espejismo")
Invisible Limits - A Conscious State '89
(With great songs like "Golden Dreams", the New Order Edit version is better than the album version and the beautiful and emotional "Natalie's" written by the singer to her best friend who died in an accident)
And finally an album of EBM (electro body music) and Industrial Techno
Front 242 - Front By Front '88
(With great songs like "Headhunter", "First In/First Out" or "Work 01" and of course the b-side of the "Headhunter" maxi which is a Bonus track from later editions of the album, the great song "Welcome to Paradise v1.0"
An all-time classic masterpice... "Personal Jesus" was also officialy remixed in 2011 and featured on "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" official trailer.
Thank you for reacting to the album version instead of the single version that doesn’t have that epic 90 second outro. An Alan Wilder masterpiece.
Glad you played the album version. Much better than the video version that’s missing the beats at the end of this song.
Definitely do:
Halo, Policy of Truth and World in my Eyes from this album
Strangelove, Never let me down again, and Nothing from Music for the Masses
So many more amazing songs but start with those
You need to do people are people next.
Love thus one.
Down the rabbit hole. Great catalog of music to be had.
Still love this song, as soon as I hear it start I have to turn up
the volume ha!
From this album, Waiting for the night. Goosebumps on Goosebumps. Oh and NIN are inspired by DM.
The Violator album is great, check out Policy of Truth (jaw droppingly good) and Halo. Other DM songs that are must hears: Strange Love (Blind Mix) Never Let Me Down Again (Split Mix), Route 66 (Beatmasters Mix), Get the Balance Right (Combination Mix), Breathing in Fumes, It's No Good (album cut, not video), Barrel of a Gun, Master and Servant, Stripped... that can get you started!
And Everything Counts
Oh yeah, I knew I forgot one of my favorites!!!@@richw7743
@@richw7743Everything Counts (101 live)
And
"Blasphemous Rumours"
"Dangerous (Sensual mix)"
"Behind the Wheel"
"Behind the Wheel/Route 66 (Megamix)" & "(Megadub)"
"But Not Tonight (Extended Remix)"......
And the Never Let Me Down (Aggro Mix), DM's best bass line
And more......
Depeche was wayyyy before NIN however if you want the OG inspiration to NIN it would be Gary Numan and songs like his #Metal or #Cars of course. I've been a fan of all three for decades and decades. There are more pure "Industrial" bands out there as well - One of my favorites is Nitzer Ebb who opened for DM at Dodger stadium when I saw them live. #Godhead is a pure banger
Check out Never Let Me Down Again!
Got to listen to them live
Synthpop in my veins, Depeche Mode in my heart ♥️🌹
I love this song
That outro was ahead of its time
I think this is my favorite of theirs. They are a sonic experience. And yes the entire Violator album is great. Gotta check out "Policy of Truth" from it next.
Wow... what a band!! 🤗🎶
Behind the Wheel, Suffer Well, The Sinner in Me, Soul with Me-- so many wonderful sounds and profound lyrics.
cool reaction 🤟
OMG ha YAY i **Luvd** dancin to this back in my club days heh **Thank YOU Shawn** **Fun Memories**
NIN.. influence was DM
✌️💚
the Holier Than Thou Approach mix is wayyy better
Marilyn Manson does a good cover of this song.
For me personally, "Personal Jesus", when it came out it was a song that I didn't like, in fact, in my opinion, it was one of DM's worst songs to date. I liked the b side much better, the "Dangerous (Sensual Mix) )", is infinitely better.
Of course, the versions they played in the clubs, "Holier Than Thou Approach" and "Pump Mix", have one of the best bass lines in electronic music.
Do Violator! Do Violator! Do Violator! Do Violator! Do Violator!!!!!!!
An "industrial tech" sound is a good description. It does sound like they influenced '9inch nails'. Very '80s. Putting persons on a pedestal, a personal Jesus, often does not end well. Like your take.
(do you have a degree in psychology?)

Any videos containing Eagles content is pretty much guaranteed to get flagged and pulled by TH-cam. Many reactors have complained about getting strikes for any Eagles content, and it seems fewer and fewer reactors are willing to try.
@@sheri4539 Agreed!!! From what I've heard Don Henley is adamant about not having any non-official Eagles uploads on TH-cam... including reaction videos. They will be immediately flagged and blocked.
B Side is better
I hear this come on, volume 11. I pace myself on the cd, sorry! Album. 🫡 🤎
