Thank you, great video. I hope you will make another video about the second more complicated mold shown here.

Wow, a No Cut rubber mold technique, I didn’t know it was possible! Thanks for the education!

Thank you for this detailed instruction vodeo! I am looking at setting up casting equipment at my shop instead of outsiurcing this part of production process for my miniature motorcycle models. You helped me estimate the complexity of the process. And better appreciate the work that the craftsmen do for me, when I outsorce the casting of parts. Thank you!❤

Question; why mica powder specifically? Couldn’t cornstarch be used? Thanks in advance

Question: at what temperature does the vulcanizer have to stay at in degrees and how long? I have a older one that is not working full strength

This depends on the rubber you are using:
Belicone Rubber 350F for 15 mins per ¼ sheet.
      Castaldo Rubber VLT 160F for 90min 170F for 60min 180F for 45 min 190F for 30min
Castaldo Super Hight Strength 350 for 15 min peer ¼ inch sheet
Gemni Rubber 350F for 7 min per ¼ in sheet
Different mold rubbers cure at different temps and times. Please follow the manufacturers instructions.

I like this ! it's a bit like a sandcast, but with Rubber instead of casting sand. And of coarse there's the additional step of vulcanizing the mold.
