I'm thinking to take the pandemic gain and order this. Oh and mine's PDK that made me love it because it is soooo quick and I'm a manual guy all of my life.
Help, Australia's population is being held hostage by the local Porsche concession. The GTS with some options is $400k here, $300k USD. Yes Australia has 10% GST and a luxury car tax, however this does not explain most of the difference vs US prices (or UK) price.
I ordered the targa 4s in aventurine green & 7spd manual in December '21 and it was made last week - very excited. I get it mid August. Can't wait! Great review - thanks man.
I think you have the front end lifter engaged when you took your pictures. Targa 4 GTS is a great car. I'd like to have the carbon brakes as an option just to keep the wheels clean. With steel brakes, they are never clean.
The interior color reminds me of a football. Love it! Not a fan of the grey-green exterior paint myself, but I must admit it's interesting and different, which is cool. How's the wind beffeting inside with the roof off? In the video I couldn't hear it at all but I think you had the windows up the whole time. Is it bad with the windows down? I had a C5 Vette coupe for awhile and if the windows were down more than about 10% with the targa off it was unbearable at highway speed. I've never been a Porsche guy, but that's probably because I've never been able to afford one. 😆
I'm about to order one soon but I'll never, ever get that center lock wheels again. I had a 4S GTS before and every time if there's a nail, change tires or anything that requires take the wheels off, I had to bring it to a performance shop/dealer, very annoying.
@@alexprost7505 There's a tool you can purchase from Porsche to unlock the center lock wheels (I believe it was about $1K) but I don't have it since I can't change tires myself...
The Targa....great in CONCEPT....not so much in practice....driving e.g. wind turbulence in the cabin top off. :)) THere's this cheap piece of I think plastic on top the front windshield to divert wind to the back....not auto :P Rather have the Cabrio!! No Rubulence "contjtained"...
