i wanna add something. The reason they don't do a replay system is because they don't want people to gather data on how many cheaters are actually in Valorant. The whole reason vanguard exists is that you trade your saftey for a better game, but in reality it doesn't do that great of a job. Sure, it stops the lowest level hacker, but it won't stop anyone with 2 brain cells and a credit card from buying a hack that works. The biggest problem i have with vanguard is that they censor anyone who tries to speak up against vanguards effectiveness. There was this one video from Unityresearch that went over in great detail how easy it is to bypass vanguard, but ultimately her video got taken down by none other than riot games.
I agree, this worked wonders for csgo where towards the end of that game’s life I never got cheaters or toxic people. The only problem is while this is super helpful to veteran players, it’s sucks for new players. I got my friend into csgo and whenever I played with him since he had low trust factor for being new, it was more frequent we got cheaters or toxic people.
Limiting the map pool in unrated is fine, but playing only 1 or 2 maps in comp has got to be a joke. Maybe if you were playing cod or cs, then choosing whatever map you want would be fine, but in valorant it's not 5 commando soldiers vs the same 5 soldiers. Imagine if ranking up to radiant was as easy as picking only 1 map where only 1 agent is technically overpowered was actually possible. You would have some of the "best" players in the game play like plats when they're playing on anything other than Jett on ascent... I agree with some of the points but definitly not this one
I have 3k hours in CS, I played so much Comp in CS and other Games and have about 1k ours in Valorant. But i cant solo Queue out of fucking Gold 3. This rank is cursed. Smurfs. People Leaving your Game. Braindead enemys that still manage to kill you with run and gun one taps and -27 ponits for a 4 vs 5 los and +13 for a win. How the fuck am i supposed to rank up if i win 6 out of 9 Matches and still go home with no + mmr
There are ways to get better, youre not the only one stuck down there. Im personally stuck in Bronze (yes) but ive proven i can do well in Silver lobbies. It just takes time, a lot of practice and dedication, but youll get out eventually. Also, those problems you stated are in every rank up until around Ascendant, where smurfs barely exist. Sometimes you just have to deal with it
@@xenird really thats all you can say. Most of a multiplayer FPS is out of your control, with what little is in your control being enough to make or break a round or even a game. I play a game called GTFO, where every mistake has consequences, from lower ammo or HP to an entire lost run right at the end. Valorant is like that as well, just on a larger scale. If you dont want to just “deal with it” you can either quit or try to give yourself more control over your games by getting better and/or more consistent.

A problem I have is that as a diamond 3 stack player, riot always puts me in lobbies with asc 3, immo 1 players that are on the same skill as I am, lose or win I get 8/10 team or match mvp and if not I am 2nd on ACS, instead of riot putting me with other diamonds so I can farm and win, riot just puts me in with random guys that goes like that: 1 win, 2 lose, 3 win, 1 lose, 1 win, lose. Like fr if u think I am good enough to play with these players, make me play with ASC 1 max so i can go up to ASC 1-2 and progress, that way I always play with higher elo players but never manage to get their elo lol. They should stop this bs where people of more than 2 ranks can play in the same lobby, bcz that way if u are boosted to asc 2 u remain there somehow, if ur mmr isnt the greatest u are fking hardstack like me.

2:18 i don’t thing that possible because the game is on server (for anticheat purpose i suppose ) (when u are on practice ur on serv). To make a map you need the game and the only time u can is when u are connected to the serv. The cost of custom map creation is just too high

From my experience I can say that it heavily depends on agent. I tried Kayo first since it's basically CSGO guy with flashes and nade but also with knife, but playing more and digging in what the gamd Valorant actually is I found myself more comfortable playing Yoru/Reyna (not initiative duelists) and Omen if team needs a smoker. And ofc as Omen I get less frags but it is what it is. p.s. i have like under 100 hours and consistent plat1 but i have been playing this game since 2021

The new maps riot adds are so bad. With the way gun accuracy works it’s so annoying having long range duels with these shitty guns that can’t shoot accurately at that distance. And only few agent have viable abilities on maps that are so big. For example wtf is Phoenix gonna do on abyss. I loved the old maps like split haven bind and ascent where everything felt at a good range and utility could be used more effectively
I don't really think skin prices are that big of a problem. They don't provide any advantage so there isn't a need to purchase them. The game is also free so they need to make their money off of it somehow. I would like it if they were cheaper because yes they are super expensive but a free game with an expensive non pay to win cash shop isn't something I see as super problematic. The only thing I really hate about skins is the fact you need to pay more to upgrade them and get the variants. If I pay $20 for a vandal skin I should get the whole skin.

I'm assuming this is about Clove since Clove came up on the screen during that part, but Clove using they/them pronouns isn't politics. It's the discussion around their pronouns which is political. Is Phoenix political because he brings race into Valorant? Was Sova political when Russia vs Ukraine was at its peak in the media? I have found Valorant to be one of the best optimized games I'm running significantly older hardware but get an incredibly stable 60 fps, it stops being nearly as consistent above 100 fps but I'm on 60 hz and I have a cpu with 10 year old architecture so it's not to bad It's significantly better than cs where I've never seen a consistent 25 fps or fortnite where I had to render the game at 45% resolution (of 1600x900) to get 45-55 fps It's definitely the most low end pc friendly game I've played

If they listen to casuals pro play would be the same forever with not comp changes resulting in boring games. I get casuals want to have fun. But if the only way you can have fun is by playing with a big advantage maybe valorant is not the right game

@@harsha6937 i believe that rank isn't a good indicator of how good your game knowledge is, seeing as rank is average of all your skills. I've had one time where. A guy dismissed my point because of my rank, but if you have to know I'm plat3 with 1k hours in val, val is my first fps I played ever, besides val I only played overwatch 2 for like a week or so. But my point is with the lower fps, if your plat and have the best setup, you still won't win against radiants, because you are a plat player, I 100% believe that fps isn't the thing that is holding back most of the players, ofc if fps drops below 60/ is really inconsistent id say its a possibility for holding you down, but I can easily reach radiant with stable 60 fps and stable wifi, if I put the time into practice ofc. But the most important thing is that the people that whine the most about only having 120 fps and losing games because of that are lying to themselves, it doesn't really matter if I have 60 fps or 120 fps if I'm better than you I will win the gunfight, or I will completely outsmart you. And I think that if you have 120 fps you shouldn't blame losing a gunfight on it, even if you're radiant. Because at that level of play you should be able to kill any enemy on 120 fps, even if they have double yours. And yes sure having 540 fps is better than having 60 fps, but if you're immortal 3 or lower it most likely isn't the reason you lost a gunfight let alone a game

A problem I have is that as a diamond 3 stack player, riot always puts me in lobbies with asc 3, immo 1 players that are on the same skill as I am, lose or win I get 8/10 team or match mvp and if not I am 2nd on ACS, instead of riot putting me with other diamonds so I can farm and win, riot just puts me in with random guys that goes like that: 1 win, 2 lose, 3 win, 1 lose, 1 win, lose. Like fr if u think I am good enough to play with these players, make me play with ASC 1 max so i can go up to ASC 1-2 and progress, that way I always play with higher elo players but never manage to get their elo lol. They should stop this bs where people of more than 2 ranks can play in the same lobby, bcz that way if u are boosted to asc 2 u remain there somehow, if ur mmr isnt the greatest u are fking hardstack like me.

2:18 i don’t thing that possible because the game is on server (for anticheat purpose i suppose ) (when u are on practice ur on serv). To make a map you need the game and the only time u can is when u are connected to the serv. The cost of custom map creation is just too high

From my experience I can say that it heavily depends on agent.
I tried Kayo first since it's basically CSGO guy with flashes and nade but also with knife, but playing more and digging in what the gamd Valorant actually is I found myself more comfortable playing Yoru/Reyna (not initiative duelists) and Omen if team needs a smoker. And ofc as Omen I get less frags but it is what it is.
p.s. i have like under 100 hours and consistent plat1 but i have been playing this game since 2021

The new maps riot adds are so bad. With the way gun accuracy works it’s so annoying having long range duels with these shitty guns that can’t shoot accurately at that distance. And only few agent have viable abilities on maps that are so big. For example wtf is Phoenix gonna do on abyss. I loved the old maps like split haven bind and ascent where everything felt at a good range and utility could be used more effectively
I don't really think skin prices are that big of a problem. They don't provide any advantage so there isn't a need to purchase them. The game is also free so they need to make their money off of it somehow. I would like it if they were cheaper because yes they are super expensive but a free game with an expensive non pay to win cash shop isn't something I see as super problematic. The only thing I really hate about skins is the fact you need to pay more to upgrade them and get the variants. If I pay $20 for a vandal skin I should get the whole skin.
I agree with everything except the "politics being brought into games." There's a lot of reasons why I disagree with that take but the main one is simply that a person's existence isn't political. I'm assuming this is about Clove since Clove came up on the screen during that part, but Clove using they/them pronouns isn't politics. It's the discussion around their pronouns which is political. YOU, the playerbase, brought politics into it by for some reason caring so much about how someone, or in this case, a fictional character, chooses to identify themselves. Is Phoenix political because he brings race into Valorant? Was Sova political when Russia vs Ukraine was at its peak in the media? Are Yoru and Jett political because of the historical conflict between South Korea and Japan? The obvious answers to all these questions are no, and the reason is because nobody cares, even though these are all ongoing political discussions and issues. Ya'll are the ones bringing the politics into Valorant, not Clove.

I have found Valorant to be one of the best optimized games
I'm running significantly older hardware but get an incredibly stable 60 fps, it stops being nearly as consistent above 100 fps but I'm on 60 hz and I have a cpu with 10 year old architecture so it's not to bad
It's significantly better than cs where I've never seen a consistent 25 fps or fortnite where I had to render the game at 45% resolution (of 1600x900) to get 45-55 fps
It's definitely the most low end pc friendly game I've played

As for making changes only because of pro play, its logical, valorant is build for pro play, but yeah i get it, its frustrating to see your main get nerfed to the ground, but youll have to deal with it, and itll push you to become a better player because you cant rely on your util as much after your agent gets nerfed. by the way There has NEVER been a classwide buff. but there have been classwide changes, like patch 4.04 where all controllers got changed.
there are more possible angles on valorant maps, because there exists some little thing called UTILITY, maybe you've heard of it, things like DRONES and SCANS and FLASHES exists to clear angles. AND there exists controllers that like cut the amount of angles you have to clear in half. and i can count on one hand how many times i got killed by a guy chilling in a corner. because I CLEAR CORNERS. AND I USE UTILITY TO CLEAR CORNERS.
and if we made al valorant maps like cs maps, it would pretty much be like playing the same map over and over and over and over again, just with a tiny little change in map layout
also they've never really removed maps that the community loved as a whole, they just removed haven because it was pretty much one of three maps left that hadnt been rotated out.
and also i want players to come up with actual reasons to hate maps, if you hate breeze because the op is way to op on the map, i say just use utility to get them of their angle/ make the op uncomfortable. so its a Skill issue , to me a bad map is a map where its hard to do like mid to a or mid to b, on breeze this is near impossible, because if you do either you can be shot from tunnel/nest or double doors which is a map issue, a good map to me has a clear identity and has great strategic diversity.
and yes indeed its a weak mentality to dodge maps your bad at, because you should play those maps , and figure out why you're doing bad on those maps and improve, dodging your bad maps means you play to win and not to improve which is what actually get you to radiant.
for the new agents, they should allow the design team more liberty with how strong to make characters, and just finetune after they release, and go after what makes the character broken. and not first nerfing everything except for the problem, and nerfing the problematic part of the kit last, LOOKING AT CHAMBER.

Replay system in valorant is ten times more difficult than in cs, because we currently have 24 agents, with 4 abilities EACH so thats already 96 abilities you have to code al over again for the replay system to work correctly

@@harsha6937 i believe that rank isn't a good indicator of how good your game knowledge is, seeing as rank is average of all your skills. I've had one time where. A guy dismissed my point because of my rank, but if you have to know I'm plat3 with 1k hours in val, val is my first fps I played ever, besides val I only played overwatch 2 for like a week or so.
But my point is with the lower fps, if your plat and have the best setup, you still won't win against radiants, because you are a plat player, I 100% believe that fps isn't the thing that is holding back most of the players, ofc if fps drops below 60/ is really inconsistent id say its a possibility for holding you down, but I can easily reach radiant with stable 60 fps and stable wifi, if I put the time into practice ofc.
But the most important thing is that the people that whine the most about only having 120 fps and losing games because of that are lying to themselves, it doesn't really matter if I have 60 fps or 120 fps if I'm better than you I will win the gunfight, or I will completely outsmart you.
And I think that if you have 120 fps you shouldn't blame losing a gunfight on it, even if you're radiant. Because at that level of play you should be able to kill any enemy on 120 fps, even if they have double yours. And yes sure having 540 fps is better than having 60 fps, but if you're immortal 3 or lower it most likely isn't the reason you lost a gunfight let alone a game
