IDK... Only this title is enough for me to feel frustrated. I am the one who is trash in our 3 stack. Gold 3 rn, Plat 2 max while my friends are Diamond - Ascendant 2 max and Asc 1- Immortal 2 max. I'm always trying to win and doing my best but still 80% of my games are less than 1.0 Kd where I can't hit shit and 5% I'm feeling like Immortal player in Plat lobby, doing clutches, while my friends on last 2 places 💀 It was super fun playing with them while second guy was plat 3 and another played on his plat 3 alt but now it's the same story like 2 years ago when they tell me to play solo because they don't want to help me to get Plat 1. And now games are trash, teamates are screaming instead on entering site on their instalock duelist while I'm still can't hit shit half of the time... I just want to rank up with them but even when I play everyday I'm still noware near them and I'm 18 now so there is no time left for chill 5h sessions on Valorant and this is only beginning... Nothing is worse in FPS games than being low skill competitive player playing with friends who are just better while they are ready to troll when they don't like something.

I have over 2000hrs on val (p3) peak d2 man and i gotta say this game is down dog every loss is just demoralising and i have tried multiple mindsets and thinking with different caps. But at the end of the day losing just feels shit and to smurfs even worse. CS is better, atleast FACEIT is trying to get rid off Smurfs and has a better system then riot which is a multi billion dollar company which the only thing they give is skins and useless maps and agents no one needs. Shame on riot

I just play comp like a chill guy

i already know this since i play csgo back in 2016, all i do is casual match, deathmatch and gun game. occasional competitive match because friends ask to play that mode. i played DS3 PvP ELDEN RING PvP with a casual mindset and wins even against tryhard no lifers because i mixed around my casual playstyle and tryhard according to what kind of player i am dealing with. Only i learn to tryhard a bit later because my early days of playing competitive games are mostly filled eith just casually playing... like you pointed out these people spend their times playing these competitive games and livestreaming to 2 viewers with no personality, and they're all sweats literally. most of the time got stomped on by a casual players who knows at least basic fundamentals been playing maybe like 1k hours mostly. what i might say it's that it's not worth it if you were not naturally good like those guys at the top. you can go ahead try grinding but the result may vary. you might or might not become a pro it's like a gamble tbh. i myself never been into much tournament i only did like few dark souls 3 pvp tourney, and elden ring tourney. and i only won at least 2 of em in 1st and second place. most of em was a loss due to lag cross region tourney or just simply accidentally broke a rule. yeah it happens to me i broke a rule because i didn't see the announcement tag of changes to the rule. ofc i volunteer to fill in a slot sometime but i sorta stop joining tourney afterward because i knew it wasn't rly that fun anyway. then my youtube channel started picking up because i just post pvp stuffs for fun and mostly just me having fun as well. and now i reach 1k subs recently. and i think i will try to grow my youtube channel. and building a community of fun dark souls pvpers and left out the sweats and losers behind. and ofc I will have my own little shop in the future or even if luck hits me maybe my art commission will worked out too one day. any sane person would know that chasing a pro gamer dream is prolly not a very realistic goal. it literally reeks delusions most of the time. don't forget the cheating epidemic now we have another obstacle on trying to go pro, i say give up this foolish ambition just like margit said and go find a realistic GOALS.

I KNOW I’m nowhere near good enough to be pro in any game, hell the highest I’ve been in any game was diamond on Honor of Kings and CONSOLE OW in like 2017 😂 but I much prefer comp because at least in games like CoD, it strips out all the dumb stuff

I'd say Valorant is more accessible but I dont know about easier, if its easier to play the exact same goes for your opponent. Why I choose Valorant though is it immitates the same core gameplay systems as Counter Strike but the matchmaking pairs me with far more suitable opponents. I want to enjoy CS2 but its matchmaking for some esoteric reason pairs me with players with thousands of hours who know how to peak every corner on every map with a 1 way smoke while im still using training wheels. Yes I know its a skill issue, now id like to play with people with similar levels of skill to me, that why I picked competitive matchmaking.

I used to play unrated like its comp, getting into the game serious and frustrated. Now I play comp like it's swift xd I don't care about anything, and I ranked up higher than ever. I really recommend being chill, not just in games but in life, dont take everything so seriously

Dude, I've been watching your videos and this has transformed my gameplay across various games pretty much instantly. I'm terrible at shooters, but after watching I've been able to maintain a level of consistency and steady improvement while also being excited to play.

Valorant will never be as good as CS because its inherently more unbalanced. In CS everyone has the same access to all the tools within each half of the match, its an even playing field pretty much constantly and winners will have better gamesense, team executions, and motor skills. In Valorant, abiltiies are locked behind specific characters which adds a significant amount of variation per match.

Tbh, the only reason I would smurf is to help my low rank friend whenever there is a smurf in the match, if not, im just going to make everything as fair as possible and help my friend improve
