This movie was an amazing suspenseful experience in the theater. I can easily see those who never saw it in a theater thinking it isn't very good as watching it on a TV just isn't the same.
I was intrigued by the trailer for Chapter 1 and am looking forward to seeing it in a few weeks. I’m out of the loop on this franchise but after hearing how much you enjoyed the original I will definitely catch up on the previous installments before seeing the new one. I need a new trilogy in my life. 😁
Off Topic: I saw Challengers over the weekend and it blew me away. It exceeded my already high expectations. It was so much fun! Probably the best of 2024 thus far. Luca has done it again. Zendaya is electrifying. Reznor and Ross deliver their best score since the Social Network. It’s thrilling from start to finish.
Yeah I thought Prey at Night was great, a much lighter and fun 80s slasher tone compared to the original but still worth the watch! I'm curious if the tone of the new trilogy is going to be closer to Prey at Night. The trailer didn't really do it for me, but I still have some hope because of course I don't want it to fail🤞🏻
@@AshleyPatricia I watched the original last night and jeez louise was that terrifying! You know, every once in a while I daydream about getting out of the city and spending time out in the country but films like this put the kibosh on that real quick 🙃 The suburbs ain’t so bad after all!

Maybe it's an unpopular opinion but i find this one quite boring. There were parts that I do really like. But in my opinion I prefer the sequel which I find a lot of fun. What did you think of prey at night?
I really enjoy the sequel as well but much prefer the original!
That's fair. I don't dislike this movie or anything I do appreciate the film for what it is. I just thought the sequel was more entertaining. I can understand why you'd like the original more. Seeing it at 13 in the cinema would be special at that age
