  • This tutorial is based on a flow through a corrugated profile. The corrugated pipe has been created in ANSYS design modeler. Viewers would be able to learn how to create a corrugated profile in ANSYS.
What will you learn from this tutorial?
    - How to create a corrugated pipe geometry in ANSYS
    - Wash Basin sink pipe CFD analysis.
    - Flow pattern analysis.
    - Default Meshing in ANSYS.
    - ANSYS Fluent Solver setup
    - ANSYS Results Post Processing.

It's a nice example for me ... will you please explain to me how to make the plot of friction factor?

this is just like the drainage pipe of kitchen sink.

sir basically what we get from this i mean how we compare it with a physical application that occure in real...

some times in the drainage pipe there is deposition of materials which can also be known as foul. we can compare how that affects the flow velocity ,this is just like that. its just an analysis of flow.

Sir please make a video for double pipe heat exchanger with inner pipe outer surface corrugated (both pipe having some thickness)... please sir

its is similar to this tutorial, please try yourself if have any problem then ask us. I think you might face difficulties in meshing phase as there would a drastic increase in no of elements in such cases due to more curved surfaces. So will suggest you should take any small sample length of the tube.

Yes sir I get 13*10^5 approx nodes ...my pipe length is 2000mm

    • @AnsysTutor

that I am saying, it will take a long time for the solver also. if you can decrease the length it would be better.

Hello, I have question about corrugated pipe, how do we do this geometry in 2d with higher number of corrugations

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  ปีที่แล้ว +2

The 2D sketch need to be made using sine wave functions in spaceclaim.
