Another fantastic episode. James Jude Courtney is on my bucket list of horror celebrities to meet. His portrayal of The Shape is amazing in Halloween 2018. I know he mentioned during the episode that his primary reference for how to play the character was taking inspiration from Nick Castle. It makes total sense since this was omitting the other sequels but there was one part of the film where I felt he had the moves of Dick Warlock, my favorite Myers performance, and it was the long continuous shot where Michael goes from one house to the other causing carnage. That is my favorite scene in the film. Hats off to you both. You guys are the best. Look forward to part two of Mr. Courtney’s episode.
This was the best episode to date!! Simply amazing to hear all James breakdown of his involvement into the franchise, that was so cool. And Sean’s take on how he got nick involved. James Is one cool cat 🐈
I'm 42 years old and the franchise is the same age and honestly I've been a fan since I can remember. James is by far my favorite shape. Everyone that played Michael myers was great but this guy is special for sure 👍
Great episode fellas 👍 Huge fan of all involved in this episode. But huge thanks to you Sean and you Chris for doing what you are doing and keeping us fans updated and entertained.

I never clap after a movie is over but I recently seen John Carpenter’s the Thing in theaters on the big screen for the first time and some force inside me compelled me to clap when it faded to black. I was the only one and felt like an idiot lol
Thank you both for the entertainment. It’s so nice to get a glimpse of you both in the comfort of your own homes and to kinda see what you’re like in your real lives. I enjoy all the stories and I’m living vicariously thru you both. I’m looking forward to many more episodes and get to know you two better. I’ve met both of you. Halloween is the shit. H40 convention in Pasadena was a blast Sean. I’ve just been curious. Sean why aren’t you in Halloween 2018? I mean you did have a hand in getting Nick Castle to come back. And you have given the fans a big look into the Halloween films with Horrors Hallowed Grounds and all the bonus footage you’ve given us. Plus you’re a big part of putting together the Halloween Conventions in Pasadena. I’d love to see you in one of them. That would be so awesome. Has that ever been brought up and would you be in a Halloween film given the chance, even if it was a walk on cameo role? I’m pretty sure I speak for a lot of other people when I say that you should definitely be in one. That’s only fair!! Lol. Come on Christopher, I’m sure you’ve got connections. Lol. Thank you both so much for all you do. Much love, Shawn from Ohio
Another cracking episode guys! I honestly can’t wait until the next one, just the most entertaining podcast around. I know you both often have stories about cinema assholes, which here in the UK I’ve never had. However on my first visit to the sates in 2002 I was in Florida and one day the heat was so unbearable that my now wife and I decided to have some time out of the sun and go see a movie in a nice big air conditioned cinema. That movie was Panic Room which I was really stoked about seeing early as it wasn’t due out in the UK for a while. I just wasn’t prepared for the US cinema experience of clapping and shouting when a great scene was happening, I was literally like WTF is this all about. It really did sour my first big US cinema outing. A few nights later we decided to see Jason X on opening night thinking our first experience might just be a one off, boy were we wrong it was even frigging worse. Anyhow on our final cinema of that visit we saw The Rookie with Dennis Quaid in a small cinema in Celebration and to our surprise people didn’t shout and clap they just enjoyed the movie as we did. Third time luckies a charm. Keep up the great work!
I hadn't listened to Blackstar yet either...for the same reason James mentioned. After listening to you guys, though, I checked it out...very glad I did. Dollar Days is beautiful and poignant. Thanks, guys. I'm sure Bowie is smiling down so keep shining a light.
Question for Chris if it hasn’t been discussed already. When you were designing the hero mask for Halloween 2018, did you have a specific image you were going for, or did it morph into something completely different from what you originally had in mind?

Loving the podcast both, its helped bring some joy in these strange times. What would you both consider to be your holy grail within your collection? Something that no money offered could let you part with.
Question is for Chris....Is the Myers mask dome display new? Or just new camera angle? Question for Sean...could you give us hints on next time you work with Scream/Shout Factory... Love the show! Fun to listen/watch while I’m doing overnights at work.
Tommy Lee Wallace, Tom Atkins and John Carpenter are the 3 guests I'd most like to see and I'm sure you'll have two of them before too long. If you ever get Carpenter that alone will make your views and subscribers go through the roof.

Hello Sean and Christopher, You both were talking about going to Haunted Attractions in Los Angeles, and I was wondering if either of you ever visited a revered Home Haunt in North Hollywood (If I recall correctly) called the "The Hallowed Haunting Grounds"? It ended in 2005.

Hi Sean. I am putting together a Halloween special on my TH-cam channel. With myself, and nine other TH-cam or‘s, we will review one horror movie each and combined them all into one video. So far we have eight people we are looking for two more, and I was hoping you might be interested in joining up with us. I know we would love to have you. The video should be no longer than five minutes long. If you happen to go over a little that’s fine but we are shooting for five minutes or less per video. You can be yourself in the video you can plug anything you’d like to plug any projects you’re working on etc. Introduce yourself, get into the movie as far as the synopsis some of your favorite character some of the favorite kills some of the atmosphere of the movie anything you’d like to talk about the movie within the five minute. And then once you’re done you can edit your own clip and send it to me and at the very end my editor is going to put all the clips from all 10 videos together and make it into one long video and we’re thinking it’s going to be around 30 to 45 minutes long and then it will be dropped on Halloween night for everybody to see. That’s why we’re hoping October 15 is the deadline so we have a couple weeks to play with the project before we actually drop it on the 31st. If this is something you were interested in please let me know because I know like hell I would love to have you in this project I think he would be a great asset to this video so thank you very much for listening to this please give me back an answer as soon as you can even if it’s no I will still respect that and understand it but the sooner you tell us the sooner we can go find somebody else if you don’t want to do it but if you do want to do it and I’m hoping you do you’ll have to pick a movie and we’re trying to not get duplicates of movies so I have to figure out which movie you can review anyway but I will talk to you soon sorry for such a long message I don’t know how else to get a hold of you guysTake care and be safe and I hope to hear from you your boy, walnuts
My only issue with delaying the movie is will it actually be “safe”? They keep saying next year you’ll be able to travel all over and probably more so but how do you know that? Dude I hope so. If so sure that’s worth it then. But will it though? I mean hopefully it will but what if it’s still kind of like it is here in Canada. We can still see movies on the big screen they space out all the seating and wear masks etc. right now. But I hope it’ll be full capacity in 2021 but I have a feeling it’ll still be kinda fuckery and I’ll resent waiting lol and it’s exactly the reason he said it’s like the carrot was dangled we knew that was the time. I set my internal clock lol to be able to handle that wait and to give it another entire year was really tough to take for a lot of the diehards. Seriously though I understand why they are waiting there’s an ass load of money involved and they want as much profit as possible to avoid a disappointing return. I get it. Sucks but I get it.
If things still aren’t “safe” by October 2021 of next year, then we have much bigger problems to worry about then movies. By then though if things still are the same as they are now, I don’t think people will care anymore and just say fuck it. People aren’t going to stay locked up for a year and a half, and things will have no choice but to reopen, rightly or wrongly. I truly believe though, we will all be seeing H-Kills next October in theaters.
attention attention.. warning.. please disregard all comments of elder abuse as all bruises were just apart of the 'SHOW'... elder abuse is not a joke but please betty white on a football field deserves a call from SAG before they worry about any bruises from a movie set .. lolol // U never know when some paper pusher hears all about how an elder was bruised and showed up some where and the cops did not report the bruises... // James J C (if had) shown up to a hospital for other reasons.. given his age.. the hospital staff might have called in the cops to ask about 'whom did this to this elder?'. lolol be warning.. please... leave all 911 calls at home..
Get off my lawn moment is when I see people eating food at the movies. Popcorn and candy cool but when you have to eat steak and sides at the movies is just dumb. How can you pay attention to the movie when your cutting your steak and shoveling mash potatoes into your mouth? It’s just stupid just eat before or after the film!!

People aren’t going to stay locked up for a year and a half, and things will have no choice but to reopen, rightly or wrongly. I truly believe though, we will all be seeing H-Kills next October in theaters.
I can get the their English is so good comment cause of their thick accents that could probably be hard to understand what they are saying
If that's what she meant. Trust me she didn't mean it that way.
attention attention.. warning.. please disregard all comments of elder abuse as all bruises were just apart of the 'SHOW'... elder abuse is not a joke but please betty white on a football field deserves a call from SAG before they worry about any bruises from a movie set .. lolol //
U never know when some paper pusher hears all about how an elder was bruised and showed up some where and the cops did not report the bruises... //
James J C (if had) shown up to a hospital for other reasons.. given his age.. the hospital staff might have called in the cops to ask about 'whom did this to this elder?'. lolol be warning.. please... leave all 911 calls at home..
Cool
