I love how you don’t just put characters in random places to match up, you add story, context, and you use that to really the character blend into the environment you put them in.
At 0:50, hooker Ted on the corner is reflecting on the wet sidewalk. The attention to detail is on point.

They really should have had this in Detroit become human! It would have been nice to have people choose what to do with nonhuman looking androids having human emotions too.
The same thing I did with regular androids. Treating them like machines that have a bug.
They did give us a polar bear android though. That was rad.

@@ninochaosdrache3189I wish this had been a valid approach to the story, but David Cage couldn't be dissuaded from his clumsy and downright insulting civil rights analogy. It's a straight-up "this is obviously good and logical, and this is obviously evil and senseless" situation. It's clear from the first screen of the game that the androids are sentient. Mass Effect handled it better, and they're no stranger to melodrama themselves.
@@CaylexT To be fair, while there is a lot of wasted potential, I'd say it is a good idea to make it perfectly clear the androids are sentient from the beginning.
Because let's be real, even if humans invented the most obviously conscious artificial intelligence, people would STILL doubt its sentient. That part was perfectly realistic.
Sometimes things just aren't scales of grey. Sometimes, people are just obviously stupid as hell.

It goes beyond my cognitive understanding of whether this is canon or not anymore. My brain is often tricked into thinking it is from the actual game, forcing me to watch some scenes up to 5 TIMES to convince myself that this is just insane CGI and editing.
