This situation sounds IDEAL. i am so happy for you. this concept of time and somehow getting more done when we are on tight schedules is fascinating to me. i definitely am a victim of this. i believe it is called Parkinson's law.

So0hie, Yay! I'm so happy you found a job that sounds like a great fit for you. My Hubby has flexible hours & can work as many hours as he wants to we love it. If something comes up & he needs time off, he can do it. We were on vacation & we could take as many days off as we wanted. You'll love it. I'm happy for you. 😊

Congratulations, Sophie. I think the silver lining in your experience was that you had time for yourself. Coming from someone whose children now have children, this Sophie time was probably a gift.

Have you ever thought about your own law firm?
The flexible schedule sounds ideal, but couldn't you also take a break from working? Between your husband's job, your TH-cam channel, your mail order side job, and 2 young children, you're already quite busy. Be a SAHM till the kids go to school, and spend more time with them?
Unfortunately the income I generate as a lawyer is nowhere near my side hustle. If I was a full time SAHM I probably would have to cut back on "sophisticated" and even saving daycare costs we would still be missing out on significant income without me working and maybe surprisingly, I really don't make much doing this, and consider it more of a hobby. I wish it wasn't all financial but its a big factor for sure!! It's also hard to stop practicing law for a few years and re-enter the workforce...
