Today I did my English literature paper 1 mock and smashed it I did 6 pages out of 8 all fully detailed within a hour all thanks to this legend

I’m doing my GCSE’s in a couple of weeks and I was so so stressed that all of a sudden my grades have decreased in my mocks.. BECAUSE of poetry and my teacher hasn’t really been much of any help unfortunately but thankfully I’ve just found this TH-camr because now I’m finally finally understanding Anthology 😭💗

Yh rn I’m stressed for eng poetry because my teacher hasn’t even covered the whole anthology and so I had around 6 whole poems that I haven’t covered at all but now I’ve got 3 left. Ngl I’m not sure about how I’m going to even practice with these poems

while it is fairly similar, your PRTE structure seems to make a lot more sense to me than PETAL that I am taught are school

@@MohammedHassan-cq4xr for the poetry we had to compare bayonet charge to another poem and for section A we had to say how Macbeths fears are presented in an extract (I forgot what the extract was) and in the play as a whole.

i dont think their is a specific amopunt just as many as possible buy a power and conflict book and just remember all per poem
great video as always. I would say another reason why this question gets so low marks is because of having to remember multiple quotes from many different poems.

The amount of memory needed to get a high mark in eng lit is exhausting.Especially if you also have to learn how to write a good essay!

comparison can be finding the difference or similarities so if you're comparing A to B you can find the similarities in each one and the differences. but normally there's more of one than the other. so yes if you just focus on one you may not get full marks if there are the other
