The Serpent is referenced is John 3:13-16. Just as the the Serpent was lifted up so was the Son of Man (Jesus); so that all who look believing will be healed (saved)
11:39 - Lighting the candles won't do anything. There is no word from God to the effect that we should light candles for prayers or to heal loved ones. It's all a tradition of men, who find it easier to invent ceremonies than to actually study the word of God and follow it.

The lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord must be tended continually." Leviticus 24:3-4 "Tended continually" and "ordinances for the generations to come" stick out to me. Others love to judge ones actions and beliefs for a sense of superiority. Lighting a candle or not isn't going to keep you from entering the Kingdom of Heaven. Keep your reservations to yourself unless what someone is doing goes against the word of God. What you are doing is not righteous discernment. Its attention seeking and self righteous behavior, my friend.
right, i agree i think that is just another catholic ritual. i have a feeling that place was built and maintain by the catholic church. because dr alex was reading the inscription and he mention something about a pope. a very nice place and well maintained. the catholic church is about traditions and rituals, i am not slamming it , but that is the facts.
@@MrT9822 This was instruction for the priesthood of Israel, when the Sanctuary/Temple was functioning. Regular people were forbidden to do what the priests could do. When Uzziah the king tried to offer incense, he was struck with leprosy (2 Chronicles 26:19). So there is no support in this scripture for the practice you see in the video.

It's saying, in effect, "I can't reach God, He doesn't answer me, so maybe if I do a ritual He will be moved to help me." It misrepresents God as being far off, and having left us on our own.
This is what god didn’t want but yet like all humans greedy for money are being charged for a chance to see what Moses had seen (the promise land) and where he was buried by god himself. But no one really knows where exactly he was buried. God didn’t want a tourist attraction at Moses place of resting….

Just so you all understand, Jehovah God hid Moses because he did not want anyone to worship him as is being done here on mount Nebo erecting monuments and copper serpents to honor him. So why have people overstepped Jehovah's purpose by putting these things here!?
